I'd love to see the lego movie shown too ”

It was two years after Skyfall's cinema release that it got it's ITV premiere not one - October 2012 and Xmas Eve 2014 respectively - so the earliest Spectre will be on ITV is Christmas 2017. Frozen is a good shout though.

Guardians Of The Galaxy is another one that could be premiered this Christmas.

i dont like this olynpic layout and didnt like it in 2012.

why not just add 2-3 pages per day to each day in the normal magazine.

now you have BBC1 and BBC4 listed in both the main & the supplement. what a waste!

True Movies seem to show Christmas films all year round...

If I remember correctly, last year they also changed to 'True Christmas' channel in early October.
I wonder if they will do the same this year.

Look forward to it Wizzywick. As a kinda off-topic question, how do you do that thing of posting a link to a single post, as above? I can't see any button for it (not on me phone at any rate)...

This year is the make or break year for the Quiz. Last year I received 18 entrants. I would hope that round about the same number enter this year. I'm pleased you are going to participate, and if people do take part then inevitably I will continue it next year.

With regards to how we can post links, if you want to link a particular post in a thread, just click on the post count number to the right of the post. For instance: #1. Once you click onto the post number, you will see the internet address for that post number in your search bar. Copy the address and then paste in your new post.

The exact same thing is done for websites. Just copy the website address in your search bar and paste in your post. Hope this helps.

It's nearly time.....

.....Just over two weeks to go.

Teaser question to be revealed tomorrow!

It's hard to take in that it was nearly a year ago since I was promoting the 2015 Quiz!
A Quiz that had 18 posters competing for a 2016 Desk Calendar and an old Radio Times!
The current champion, marke09, won because he was more precise with one answer than another poster. But, marke09, it's nearly time to fight for your crown!

As a taster to the type of questions you can expect, here's a teaser of a Question that will appear in any of the 8 weeks.

Please DO NOT answer it either by PM, but especially publicly, as it is just a bit of fun and will give you a bit longer to find an answer.

Which popular ITV sitcom starring Mollie Sugden about a woman who unknowingly became a housekeeper for her son, whom she put up for adoption at birth, aired Christmas Specials during the early 1980's?

There'll be another question next week.

This year, posters can have two "Give Me A Clue" lifelines each during the 8 week run. This means that you can send me a PM asking for a clue if you are stumped on any question. But, you can have only two clues during the 8 weeks. More details in the rules that will be posted on Sunday August 21st along with the first set of questions.

Please note, that any requests for questions in advance due to holidays can no longer be considered. The deadline has now passed. Those who have made requests will receive your questions for the week's specified, next Sunday by PM. You will then have until Saturday August 20th at midnight, to get your answers to me by PM.

I like that question Wizz, it took me all of 8 seconds to find the answer. I hope they're all as easy...!

It would be lovely to have you as a participant in the quiz. There are prizes. Have you had the chance to read through the thread and seen what prizes you can win? Welcome.

Something I have been doing is recording films and storing them in the deleted section of my Sky planner ready for Christmas. I know channels are full of films at Christmas time but it skips the adverts
