Yes but for some reason they have compared year on year and not six months on six months

I usually get my reminder about four months before my subscription runs out.

7 days to go! What for? The RT Countdown Quiz. 8 weeks and 86 questions with some great prizes to win.

Here is the second and final teaser question that will feature in any of the 8 weeks.

As last week, please don't answer it but just use it as a guide to the type of questions you can expect to come up:

What artist, in a concert filmed in Montreal in July 1987, with his Quartet and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, got a late night BBC1 showing on 23rd December 1987?

Be here next Sunday, 21st, August, for the first week of questions! It's nearly Quiz time!

7 days..................

(All those who requested advanced questions for the week they're away, will be sent the relevant week's questions by Personal Message during the course of the late morning/early afternoon. You will have until midnight next Saturday (20th August) to provide the answers.)

Are these for the first six months of 2016? - In answer to this

Media Guardian stated that the Radio Times is down just under 9% for the first 6 months of 2016 which is higher than year on year. No exact figures sold or other titles were mentioned but based on this that would suggest that the magazine is keeping hold of subscribers, but due to the price rise casual readers have gone elsewhere, probably newspaper freebies or on screen guides. - apologies but I don't know how to put other quotes in the dark boxes, any advice on how to do this appreciated

Both sound great and exactly the kinds of programmes I want to see commissioned for Christmas! Hopefully we keep hearing more news along these lines.

5 days to go!

And, this year, to save a lot of reading on Sunday when the quiz launches, I am posting the rules for this year's quiz this coming Thursday. That way, if you need them each week, I can just link to the post that contain them.
