For me the GBBO Christmas will be in the lead up to Christmas - reason is if you want to try and do some of the recipes you will have time to do so but wont if shown on Christmas Eve

We'll see. But I personally believe the BBC will use it to bolster their Christmas schedules. I doubt many people will want to fart around making Gingerbread Santa Grotto's or twelve tier mountain glacier cakes in the run up to Christmas. I guess we'll find out in about 13 weeks!

When were the GBBO Masterclass shown?

From what I can gather the GBBO Christmas specials are just versions of the regular series but put into two seperate programmes - with a Christmas twist. The Masterclass was shown on BBC2 in the run up to Christmas and was a different format. With Christmas ratings declining, the BBC will need something to form a centrepiece for their schedules, especially if it's to be the last time Bake Off airs on the BBC.

As I say though, one of us will be right and we will find out in a few weeks time!

Guys, just to let you know that I'm still waiting for some responses to the Quiz! Plenty of time to get your answers in of course, but I would like to have some to be going along with!

BBC Four today announces a Christmas treat for fans of screwdrivers and rubbish shirts, as James May returns to the channel to give a welcome relief from unwanted gifts and stuffing-induced comas with four more programmes in his series James May: The Reassembler, once again slowly building everyday items from their component parts, and discovering what it takes to actually get them to work.

In episode one, James will be reassembling the Christmas present we all dreamed of being left under the tree by Santa on Christmas morning: the Hornby toy train and track.

The remaining three episodes feature a 1960's Kenwood Chef food mixer; a Dansette (a portable record player with integrated speakers from the 1950s/60s) and a 1976 Honda Z50a mini trail motorbike, known affectionately as the Monkey Bike.

first bit of Christmas 2017?

BBC One has ordered a one-off half-hour animated adaptation of kids book The Highway Rat from independent production company Magic Light Pictures, TVWise has learned. The adaptation is set to be a key part of BBC One’s 2017 Christmas schedule.

Based on the 2011 book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, The Highway Rat tells the tale of a greedy rat who tyrannises animals along the highway, as he steals their food at every opportunity: clover from a rabbit, nuts from a squirrel, a leaf from some ants – he even steals his own horse’s hay. However what he really craves are cakes and all things sugary, and it’s his sweet tooth that finally leads him to a sticky outcome.

Excellent! As you can imagine having around 18 entries all at the same time makes it a bit harder to collate properly and it's possible I could inadvertently miss someone out, which is why I panic a little when I get no entries at the start of the week.

So here's this week's Questions once again should anyone need them:

1. 2016 has been a horrid year for celebrity deaths. One of the most shocking was that of Victoria Wood in April. Can you name the female politician that was the subject of a big song and dance spectacular in “Victoria Wood With all the Trimmings” at Christmas 2000?

2. Which 1982 Knees-Up got a Channel Five repeat showing on Christmas Day 2015?

3. Where did Edina pick Saffy up from when Absolutely Fabulous returned on Christmas Day 2011?

4. In a Christmas 2003 Arena special, a subject was described as a 'Secret Man'. Who was it referring to?

5. Which Ben Elton popular sitcom, that ran for two series', got a Boxing Day airing in 1995?

6. Where did BBC1's Christmas Eve midnight mass service come from in 1990?

7. What was the subject matter of Barry Norman's “Come On Down” that aired during Christmas in 1984?
Question 7: Please note: I will award 1 point to anyone who gives a specific and full answer to this question. If you give a partial answer or one that is not specific, you will receive half a point.

8. Which madacp comedian starred in the BBCtv Professor Branestawm adaptations?

9. From Christmas 1983, which medical thriller starring Michael Douglas and Genevieve Bujold received its first showing on British television?

10. Which popular quiz hosted by the late Paul Daniels, aired on New Year's Eve 1986 at 6.25pm?

So, there's this week's questions. Good luck.

Answers by PM before midnight this coming Saturday. Thanks.

I certainly intend to enter Wizzywick! Just been a bit busy offline and also distracted by sexy dancing men in sequins etc on Strictly come dancing! 😘

So don't worry! I'm sure that's gone some way to assuage your concerns and give you what you most desire!

Wasn't she rumoured to be having a little baby Millican?

UPDATE: Someone on her website has asked if she's making a new TV Show. Her reply was this:

"No plans at the moment. I’m having some time off work at the moment."
