Get tickets! I don't agree with her politics but she is outrageously rude and has me in stitches! I love it when she does the honking noise that insinuates she's grabbing a man's knackers! I saw Sarah Millican years ago at Newbury's Corn Exchange as part of a Jongleurs evening, obviously before she made it into the big time!

I like McIntyre, I don't mind David Walliams in his sketch show guise, I love Sarah Millican. I enjoy Miranda Hart and think Mickey Flannagan is hilarious. I love his Owt Owt! joke. But as you say, we all have different tastes. I don't like Alan Carr.

Your second reminder of the week to get your answers to me by Saturday at 11.59pm. A very disappointing response this week so far. This time last week I had received 17 entries. Nowhere near that amount thus far.

The Questions again for those who need them:

1. 2016 has been a horrid year for celebrity deaths. One of the most shocking was that of Victoria Wood in April. Can you name the female politician that was the subject of a big song and dance spectacular in “Victoria Wood With all the Trimmings” at Christmas 2000?

2. Which 1982 Knees-Up got a Channel Five repeat showing on Christmas Day 2015?

3. Where did Edina pick Saffy up from when Absolutely Fabulous returned on Christmas Day 2011?

4. In a Christmas 2003 Arena special, a subject was described as a 'Secret Man'. Who was it referring to?

5. Which Ben Elton popular sitcom, that ran for two series', got a Boxing Day airing in 1995?

6. Where did BBC1's Christmas Eve midnight mass service come from in 1990?

7. What was the subject matter of Barry Norman's “Come On Down” that aired during Christmas in 1984?

Question 7: Please note: I will award 1 point to anyone who gives a specific and full answer to this question. If you give a partial answer or one that is not specific, you will receive half a point.

8. Which madacp comedian starred in the BBCtv Professor Branestawm adaptations?

9. From Christmas 1983, which medical thriller starring Michael Douglas and Genevieve Bujold received its first showing on British television?

10. Which popular quiz hosted by the late Paul Daniels, aired on New Year's Eve 1986 at 6.25pm?

So, there's this week's questions. Good luck.

For some people eating mince pies at Christmas is festive tradition. However some supermarkets are selling pies that have the end of October as best before date !

Hot Cross Buns are now on sale all year so why not Mince Pies

I detest the fact that Hot Cross Buns are on sale all year round. By the symbolism on the bun itself should suggest that they shouldn't be on sale. There are tea cakes and fruit buns available, so why the need for a cross on buns outside Easter?

I saw my first erected Christmas tree today. It was in a pub and urging people to "Book Now to avoid disappointment".

Mince pies are actually for sale all year around - they're just not marketed as such.

And it's clear why they're sold at this time of year - so that they can be sold for £1 in November/December, they need to be sold at full price for a certain amount of time (like all of September).

The Cadbury's (or whatever they're called this week) Rep came round last October and persuaded my boss to buy "stackers" of Creme Eggs. A great deal she said! Cost about £700. We had to throw loads away last month and had to sell 6 for £1 just to try and get shot of them as they went out of date on 31/7/16. My boss said if she tries the same this year he will politely tell her to go and play on the M4. "People love them as stocking fillers" she proclaimed. I told my boss that most people actually get annoyed at seeing Easter Eggs before Christmas has come.

Just one more mention/reminder of the Quiz until Saturday as I have received no entries at all today. With just two days to go, I am slightly concerned that my weekly target of 12 entries per week won't be met. Sorry to keep going on about it, and I promise, I'll not mention the Quiz again until Saturday. Remember, you need 70 points by the end of the 8 weeks to be in with a chance of winning a prize.

NEXT WEEK:

Week four's questions feature something new for the Quiz. You will be asked to watch a classic clip of BBCtv Christmas trails from the past and the last three questions will be based entirely on the clip.

And, in week 5, there will be 16 answers to find and a chance to make up some points, plus there's another prize draw inwhich you can win a Poster of the 1973 Christmas Radio Times featuring The Two Ronnies and a Fridge Magnet. More details next week.

Excellent. If you receive a PM from me, it was a general one that I sent to multiple posters, so please ignore it.

Ah! "The Bishop from Dibley". I don't think there is any more firm news, but with Outnumbered, the BBC will likely make a release about this around October. If there's no News, then chances are it won't happen.

More from the BBC Press Office regarding Peter Pan Goes Wrong

This Christmas, David Suchet (The Bank Job, A Perfect Murder, Poirot) will guest star in the BBC Comedy Peter Pan Goes Wrong which will be filmed in front of a live audience in Pinewood Studios later this week.

David, soon to appear in BBC's Decline And Fall and Doctor Who, will be on-screen as the narrator who finds himself caught up in the mayhem.

In keeping with Mischief Theatre’s slapstick style, the premise of Peter Pan Goes Wrong is that the BBC has allowed the amateur dramatics group to put on a show as part of this year’s Christmas offering. What could possibly go wrong? As the The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society tries to recreate the J. M. Barrie classic, a series of onstage catastrophes and backstage blunders continue to occur.

David Suchet says: “I am delighted to be part of this brilliantly funny television production for all the family to enjoy this Christmas time.”

Shane Allen, Controller, Comedy Commissioning, adds: “This is a terrific endorsement for the show. David’s natural gravitas and sublime comic timing makes him the perfect narrator to play off against the unfolding shambles around him in this comedy tour de force.”
