I hope that's not the case this year i love the Change of programming. It's most welcoming after the never changing dire daytime tV and i love being able to watch a movie in the morning or a comedy, Heck even the live programmes are a bit different and worth a watch, I wish it would start from the 15th of December

Yes thanks. Sorry about the delay in responding. I was at work for longer than usual today so didn't get too long on the internet to do the scoring! I'm all up together now.

Just over four and a half hours to go until the deadline closes for this week's quiz round.

A little bit of News about the Prize Draw for week five:

Only people who have entered EVERY week will be eligible to be entered into the draw.
The prize for week 5's draw is:
A poster of the 1973 Christmas Radio Times featuring the Two Ronnies and a Christmas Radio Times Fridge Magnet.

There will also be another fridge magnet for another poster too! Find out more next Saturday. In the meantime, don't forget that tomorrow's questions contains a video clip with questions based on the clip. Something new for the Quiz this year! And, I can guarantee the clip will make you feel all nostalgic!

I read somewhere that filming was delayed due to the fact Tim Healy is in recuperation after a debilitating illness.

The deadline has now passed for all answers to be sent to me this week.
Thank you to all 24 of you for entering again. I genuinely do appreciate your time in taking part.

Here are this week's answers and scores:

The Answers:

1. 2016 has been a horrid year for celebrity deaths. One of the most shocking was that of Victoria Wood in April. Can you name the female politician that was the subject of a big song and dance spectacular in “Victoria Wood With all the Trimmings” at Christmas 2000?

Anne Widdicombe.

2. Which 1982 Knees-Up got a Channel Five repeat showing on Christmas Day 2015?

Chas & Dave's Christmas Knees Up!

3. Where did Edina pick Saffy up from when Absolutely Fabulous returned on Christmas Day 2011?

From prison.

4. In a Christmas 2003 Arena special, a subject was described as a 'Secret Man'. Who was it referring to?

Alec Guinness.

5. Which Ben Elton popular sitcom, that ran for two series', got a Boxing Day airing in 1995?

The Thin Blue Line.

6. Where did BBC1's Christmas Eve midnight mass service come from in 1990?

The Gulf. Other answers were also given. Thank you for your efforts!

7. What was the subject matter of Barry Norman's “Come On Down” that aired during Christmas in 1984?

American game shows. I received the fullest answers ever with this question. I was looking for "American Game Shows" and not just "Game Shows".

8. Which madacp comedian starred in the BBCtv Professor Branestawm adaptations?

Harry Hill

9. From Christmas 1983, which medical thriller starring Michael Douglas and Genevieve Bujold received its first showing on British television?

Coma.

10. Which popular quiz hosted by the late Paul Daniels, aired on New Year's Eve 1986 at 6.25pm?

Every Second Counts.

A great response once more after a worryingly quiet start! But now the Scores.
Firstly, I need to mention the two posters who haven't entered for a couple of weeks.
Allan has 8 points and Shakeytictac has 9 points. Perhaps they'll join in again later during the run.

Yes. It's a scenario, that should it result in a tie-break, that will see an exciting scramble to the winners prizes! However, as it stands, ALL players, (except Allan and Shakeytictac), are still in with a chance of scoring 70 or more and the right to be entered into the 70+ prize draw. This year, to be a bit tougher, once that chance has gone, i.e. you haven't enough points to go into the draw, your name will be removed from the scoreboard. Of course, you will still be scored and I will record your score as normal, but it will be displayed in the way I displayed Allan's and Shakeytictac's.

Here is a guide as to what each player needs to score to get into the prize draw at the end. Bearing in mind, there are still 56 points left to win:

pembo2004 9 – 17 53
vinnyvega 10 – 18 52
jazzydrury3 9 – 20 50
Cory_Osborn2 9 – 23 47
Footballfan87 8.5 – 24.5 45.5
cylon6 10 – 25 45
pedrok 9 – 26 44
J-Star 7.5 – 26.5 43.5
welshfergiebird 10– 27 43
RJ 10 – 27 43
Hildaonpluto 10 – 28 42
RG101 10 – 29 41
brucie_bonus 10 –29 41
theSweeney 10 – 29 41
altally 10 – 29 41
smokeycat 10 – 30 40
mightybudgie 10 – 30 40
NellCarter 10 – 30 40
pizzatheaction 10 – 30 40
yorkieUK 10 – 30 40
davads 10– 30 40
JBO 10 – 30 40
marke09 10 – 30 40
Claires_dad 10 – 30 40

But, of course, with those 56 points still available, it is still genuinely anyone's game. It only takes the 30 pointers to miss a week or have a bad week to allow the others to catch up!

That's interesting. Thanks for the info. Hopefully Tim Healy has made a full recovery. Benidorm had to be re-written due to his illness. Shall look forward to start speculating as to what day during Christmas the series will start!

Still Open All Hours is very popular. I would love to see it on Christmas Eve around 7pm or Christmas Day at 7pm. I think it will be Boxing Day as usual though.
