Frozen is being removed from Sky Cinema soon so I imagine it will be shown on BBC One this year.

The Harry Potter films are being removed to so I imagine ITV will have those on over Christmas again.
That will make many kids Christmases.

Frozen was removed on Netflix ages ago ready for a Premiere on TV.

Channel 4 or Channel 5 may show one of these. I think the rights are with Sky at the minute though.

Other films leaving Sky Cinema over the next few weeks which could be shown over Christmas (old and new)

Old

Jack Frost
Mr Magoo
Toy Story 2
Toy Story 3
Fred Claus

New

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

They could of course be renewed on Sky though.

The Old Turtles Movies haven't been shown for awhile.

They are a feel-good movies to watch at Christmas.

Also for the adults, maybe some good christmas Horrors? Black Xmas is one I'd love to see !

Yes I know, I think Sky and the BBC have joint rights for the Toy Story films. If the BBC still have the rights at Christmas I'm sure we will see them on again. I wonder if BBC One will show the Shrek films again this year as last year they couldn't show the first as Sky had the rights. Sky still has the rights now and Netflix has the last 3 but not the first so I don't think they will be on again this year.

Indiana Jones will probably be shown again in the week up to Christmas.

With all the specials that BBC have already announced there looks to be little time for feature films - the schedule I have come up with only has one prime time film slot on Christmas Eve although there will be a few new animated films getting a premiere

Claires_Dad I've noticed that on you're (brilliant ) website that Not Going Out is listed as "possible" for this Christmas. Now I could be going mad but I'm sure that it's been confirmed?

In other news I see that "Walliams & Friend" has been recommissioned for not just one episode, but a full series I thought it was awful bar one or two sketches, how can they recommission crap like that, and axe popular shows like Dickensian?

There is nothing certain about a Christmas Special of Not Going Out. The most recent BBC update suggested that the new series will air early in 2017 and gave no mention to a Christmas episode. Walliams and Friend is both. A six part series will air later this year but will end with a Christmas special. I looked forward to Dickensian for a long time but was actually quite disappointed with the end result. It was convoluted and pretentious.

The problem with Dickensian was that they moved it around too much like it was filler material. I know there were 20 episodes but it seemed like they wanted to show them quick. It would have been better if they were on Monday and Friday at 8:30 for 10 weeks.
