Why did you have to include bargain hunt, is it took the regular viewers happy.

Would love films on BBC One on December 23rd in the morning ,but I do have a feeling we will get the usual, how can I put it nicely, Quota filling TV.

Going onto ITV as that week isn't Christmassey, do we expect them to still do Jeremy Kyle, This Morning and Loose Women up until the 23rd
Well last year we had normal daytime programmes until Wednesday before Christmas so hopefully they will do the same this year or there will be nothing Christmas until we hit Christmas Eve

Mel and Sue Quit Bake Off!

I take back what I said earlier. Loyal BBC presenters to the end. Good for them.

I think they probably thought if we go that's goodbye to our BBC careers and watch them being rewarded with some big series

Have a funny idea, that because they are popular and are in with Channel 4, we could get Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, from Sunday Brunch take over

I think Sue Perkins was upset at how the deal was done. She is loyal towards the beeb so I think she is angry that the BBC were in effect shafted.

to me something stinks in the haste that CH4 signed up yesterday - straight in a taxi from BBC to C4 and they signed there and then - they knew what was going on -

Do Love productions have any other BBC series? id be a worried producer tonight

The Great British Sewing Bee and the Great Pottery Throw Down. Both have yet to be re-commissioned.

It is a shame, but listening to Victoria Derbyshire this morning, there had been rumours for a while

I didn't bother with the potatoes as the bag was very small for £3.95.

Good news about Mel and Sue. I would like to see the BBC give them an afternoon chat show like they had on ITV last year. I really enjoyed the ITV show and think a chat show with these two would be a nice little break from Pointless.

Hope you lot in the SE are enjoying your record breaking temps - spare a thought for us here in Wales has been raining all morning!
And all afternoon. Suits me, though.

So the two "Champion of Champions"-type Bake Off specials that the BBC are doing this Christmas... Do you think they'll now bury them, or promote them to high heaven as a big farewell finale for the original team?

Quizmas Challenge 2016

Phew! Six pages in two days. That must be a record for this thread! Who'd a thought a show about making cakes would have caused such controversy?

Anyway, now that we've calmed down a little, I want to remind you that this weeks Quiz Questions are up and have been slipping down pages quicker than Kim Kardashian's knickers!

The Questions are here:
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...postcount=1283

Guys, if you can, could you try and get your answers as soon as you can? Last weekend everyone sent them at more or less the exact same time and it took ages to collate all the answers and scores. Thank you very much. Of course, if you can't get them to me before Saturday, then don't worry. I am just trying to make things easier for me!

How on earth did I miss this? If it is on this Christmas it will be huge for the BBC. Will it be BBC One or BBC Two though? It could be the centrepiece of BBC Two's Christmas night schedule.

BBC Media Centre usually say if the programme is going to be shown at Christmas in their articles though.

Perhaps we'll know more on this after the cinema screening of the film.
