Good schedule guys, I don't think they will show a film on Christmas Eve night though.
I did a schedule earlier in the thread but now there has been more announcements here is another....

Saturday 24th December

5:20 - Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes 1/2
5:50 - BBC News/Weather
6:00 - Local News/Weather
6:10 - Pointless Celebrities
7:00 - Celebrity Mastermind
7:30 - Still Open All Hours
8:00 - Eastenders
8:30 - Would I Lie To You? At Christmas
9:00 - Outnumbered (special)
9:30 - Not Going Out (special)
10:00 - BBC News/Weather
10:20 - Local News/Weather
10:30 - Mrs Browns Boys (repeat)
11:00 - The Vicar Of Dibley (repeat)
11:45 - Midnight Mass
Last year was the first year since I don't know when that an evening film didn't air on Christmas Eve, and the schedule looked a lot weaker for it.

I know they had films on every afternoon last year in the week up to Christmas. The main thing I am wondering is wether Eastenders will be on Christmas Eve this year.

Christmas night is always the same now. I think to much animation here, what about a repeat of Only Fools And Horses?. I'm going to do my Christmas Day schedule now let me know what you think.

As Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday, you have to add the National Lottery Draw Live, somewhere

But going by the schedule on the top of the page, as there is never a late Local News on a Saturday, it could slip in there

My schedule does contain BBC news and Lottery update at 11.30 - you dont need to see the draw but they could put it in at 10.15 before Outnumbered as it will only take 5 mins

The Christmas night schedule is very 'samey' but if it works why change it and of course as yet we have no idea what ITV have replacing Downton

Ive gone for a 90 minute CTM as its been filmed abroad for first time

It would have been nice to see Still Open All Hours on Christmas Day, even at 5pm.

Can I ask why everything is timed different to the normal showings?. What I mean is Pointless is 30 minutes long when it's normally 45-50 minutes, Eastenders is 40 minutes, Bake Off is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Just wondering that's all.
I think you have the programming right though just the times might be off.

Pointless is an error It should be 6:30pm As for Eastenders and Bake Off, well the former is often extended for Christmas eve (It was 35 minutes last year) so I've put it as 40 minutes, and the latter is extended because It's the last ever episode on BBC1, and It's a Christmas Special so I think it may well be extended from the usual 1 hour

Im sure Emmerdale and Corrie will be on Christmas Eve - Saturday or not as it usually leads in to the big Christmas Day story BUT having said that they didnt have them on last time Christmas Eve was a Saturday in 2011

Oh yeah, forgot about Eastenders. Agree that the Bake Off will probably be extended since it's the last one. Sorry about that was just a little confused .

I'm sure I read somewhere that the BBC1 schedule for Christmas evening was going to change this year. I'm sure I did. Perhaps it is wishful thinking on my part. I would be pretty disappointed if the BBC had the same line up as they have had for the past 5 or so years.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the Quiz growing from 8 entries in 2014 to 26 this year, I need 25 million quid from all of you to carry it on otherwise I'm taking it to another forum. The popularity of the Quiz means I can now take the piss.

I didn't bother with the potatoes as the bag was very small for £3.95.
Just wanted to make sure everyone was clear about these - they're not real potatoes. They're truffle-type chocolates:

"Made by Lir Chocolates exclusively for Tesco Ireland, the New Potatoes are delicious milk chocolate ganache smothered in white chocolate… The festive sprouts are decorated milk chocolate ganache truffles."

http://www.dailyedge.ie/tesco-chocol...76496-Sep2016/

The chocolate sprouts are truffles too. I live in Jersey, and they've done the novelty bags of 'Chocolate Jersey Royal Potatoes' for quite a while now, but I have to admit - even I, for a moment, thought "Hold on! Surely not..." and checked.

Would be interesting to hear what percentage of those buying them empty them into a pan or a steamer only to watch them liquify in seconds
