You'll have to go next year, it's usually recorded early September.

Christmas Day in 2011 went as follows

9am The Naviety
10am Christmas Morning Worship
11am Songs of Praise The Big Sing

What a depressing Christmas Morning, if that isn't your kinda thing

Maybe they could then do something like

11.40 am Film
1.10 ish Animated Jolly
1.50 News
2pm TOTP

Bake Off overload! Is that the name of the BBC's replacement show?

Next year, if I do the Quiz again, I will change the scoring system so that you get points as usual for each correct question, but then additional points depending on the speed you send your answers to me. For instance, if you post on Sunday, you get an extra 7 points. If you post Tuesday, you get 5 points. Thursday, 3 points and Saturday 1 point.

The 7 day deadline is fine, but as I've said before, when everyone posts the answers to me all at once, it is harder for me to collate the scores accurately. Still, never mind! The older I get, the more grumpy I become.

You would think it was a depressing line-up, but the BBC received lots of praise from viewers for the religious offerings on Christmas morning that year. I wouldn't mind predicting BBC News on air until 10.00am on Christmas morning this year. And, following The Big Sing at 11.00am, Countryfile at 11.40am.

I'm not at all religious but I thought the Nativity was excellent and wouldn't mind seeing it again and I like listening to Christmas Carols.

As someone who usually sends them on the Sunday, let me say I agree with this!

How dies everyone feel about the cover competition being done in secret this year - PM your ideas to Clares dad and then the day after the closing date he makes all the entries public - no one will know who has come up with what idea

Obviously up to Clares dad as its his competition

I think we should, out of courtesy and respect, leave the terms of the cover competition to clares_dad. To be honest though, seeing the suggestions each year is part of the fun, and without the ideas public, it wouldn't feel like the cover competition was happening.

It's going to be so odd when they do the works to the Houses of Parliament and the Elizabeth Tower and Big Ben is silenced at New Year.
I think i read somewhere that Big Ben would be back in action for major state occasions such as Remembrance Sunday and New Years Eve and any other occasions where it would be needed
This comes from the FAQ about the Big Ben restoration works from the HoP's website:

Will the bells still sound?

The clock mechanism will need to be stopped for several months in order to carry out essential maintenance. During this period there will be no chiming or striking. Striking and tolling will be maintained for important events.

I imagine both Remembrance Sunday and New Year's Eve would be included in "important events".

Dont forget to get your quiz answers to me by midnight tonight. It would be a shame if people missed out on the chance of winning or getting 70 points after participating since week 1. Dont forget also that there are prizes to win this week too as its a prize draw week. If I'm honest, it is quite disappointing that I have received hardly any responses so far.

For the last time this week, here's a recap of the questions for week 5 incase anyone needs them. Don't forget to post me your answers by 11.59pm tonight. There's nearly 9 hours to take part.

gone very quiet as of late - so why not look at the weather forecast for the next 150 days

looks like a mild time for South England but colder here in Wales with 28 frost y nights and 12 days of snow forecast!

http://www.theweatheroutlook.com/two...on=1&summary=y

i know i know but it still fun to see what they have forecasted

This week, the Quiz changed! Three potential winners, who have a perfect score to date, have not entered and therefore, if they don't enter this week, the best they can do is qualify for the 70+ Prize Draw at the end, but ONLY if they get all 30 remaining questions correct.

So, here's a call to mightybudgie, NellCarter and pizzatheaction to get your answers in by midnight. If they don't, then the whole dynamic of the Quiz changes course, because the following players:

Hildaonpluto
pedrok
theSweeney
RG101
brucie_bonus and
altally

will overtake them and gain a place in next week's semi-final (if they choose to enter).
So, the Quiz has turned into an all to play for for those who thought it wasn't!

The following players have automatically been entered into this week's prize draw where three players will win something! So, if you want to be added to that list, get your answers to me in time, especially if you have played every week.
