THE FESTIVE FILM QUOTES QUIZ 2016

All you need to do is let me know which well known Christmas Films do these quotes come from!

1) They are Man's. This boy is Ignorance, this girl is Want. Beware them both, but most of all, beware this boy! (1951)

2) Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? (1946)

3) My speech! Here's my Christmas speech. Ahem. "Thank you all, and Merry Christmas." (1992)

4) Damn. How can you give Kris Kringle a parking ticket on Christmas Eve? What's next, rabies shots for the Easter Bunny? (1990)

5) Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Oh, I'm sorry about the bike, and the coffee, and the bus, and... the bomb. (1996)

6) No, you are a hallucination brought on by alcohol... Russian vodka poisoned by Chernobyl! (1988)

7) It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags (2000)

8) Look, I am lactose intolerant! And I'm just about this close to taking all those presents back up the chimney (1994)

9) The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.(2003)

10) A sequel. That's it. We'll bring it out on March 25, and we'll call it... Christmas 2! (1985)

Just trying to contact wizzywick to say thanks for the quiz prize but noticed I cannot send him a PM.
Also it says 'Inactive Member' under his name. What does that mean?

When it says inactive under a profile name it means they've been banned but there's no way of knowing if that's just for 24 hours, 48 hour's, a week, 2 weeks or permanently.
It'd be a real shame if it's the latter but I have no idea what's gone on?
Perhaps PM some people who you know are friendly with him on this thread especially and ask them if they know any more?

Best Wishes Hilda ☺ 👍 x

Oh I quite agree he's a great poster and I often disagree with him too and we also sometimes rub each up the wrong way! 😁

I have found myself banned for comments in the Politics column. In all honesty, the one thing I would miss if I was banned permanent, would be this thread.

I too have been on the banned list thanks to the politics thread - it is an easy thread to get yourself banned from as opinions are very hardened and some time tempers do fray but thats the nature of debate as long as it doesnt get too personal
