Quote from the Daily Mail:-
"This Christmas, the film takes its place in the festive TV listings. I can’t help thinking what my parents would have thought of their lives sharing billing with the Queen’s Speech and a Bond film. Flummoxed, I’d say."

Is that a clue for the schedule?
Probably just a dig at the times when ITV always seemed to have a Bond film on Christmas Day

Isn't it a bit soon for Spectre?

just 28 days to go before it starts landing in newsagents

Besides the RT and the TV what else are you looking forward to? Decorations going up , the shopping, the wrapping, the cards, the carols, the dinner, old friends /family, presents or dare I say nothing!

Drinking a Gingerbread Latte and listening to Heart Christmas is the perfect afternoon I'm in full festive mode

When the John Lewis Advert & Cola Cola trucks ad (Holiday's are coming) ads have been on, Christmas has officially started for me!

I really hope EastEnders goes back to two thirty minute episodes this year;. The show has had a real change of tone in the past month or so, it really feels like Classic EastEnders with a 2016 twist on things. It would be the perfect time for the show to go back to the two thirty minute episodes on Christmas Day as opposed to the hour long episode, just like it was pre 2010 ish.

Well from all the rumours the Christmas episodes are going to be low-key affairs - so may only have one 30 minute on Christmas Day - building up to a dramatic New year and the exit of two popular characters

Still feel Charlie Brooker should get.2 episodes of news wipe, 2016 has been one of the most hellish years we've ever had, Terry Wogan and David Bowie, didn't see out January, and it has just continued.

I hear today though Andy Murray has become World Number 1 in Tennis, the first Brit to become Number 1 since Fred Perry.

So that is SPOTY done and dusted

I can't see the BBC showing Frozen on Christmas Day just after the Queen.

It premiered on ITV last year so it wouldn't be a terrestrial TV premiere, which is what the Beeb schedule for that slot each year.

Monsters University I reckon or they'll even push the boat out with The Lego Movie despite that being released early 2014.
