Glad it's giving Sheffield a swerve this year. I hate it. Talk about trying to hijack Christmas

I don't get the big deal over it, It's not avoiding Leicester though, infact it's coming to our local Tesco which is only a 5 minute walk away.

I accidentally caught it (well one of them, there's more than one you know ! ) at Asda in Gravesend a couple of years ago.

It is quite an impressive truck, it's nicely decorated and they were giving away free cans of Cola.

It is of course just one big marketing stunt but how many people say now it's not Christmas until the Coca-Cola holidays are coming advert has been on TV!

Same with me once, We were in Stuttgart for the Christmas Market and had stayed in a hotel just off the square. I was wandering around late at night when one of the trucks had just arrived for the next days promotion.

Kind of funny seeing it just standing there all illuminated

The Weihnachts Kommt song always makes me think Xmas is just around the corner

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a break from the doom & gloom of all soaps for the period of the double edition.

BBC One Daytime has several festive treats in store for viewers this December.

Christmas Kitchen returns every weekday for two weeks in the run up to Christmas and will be hosted by Matt Tebbutt and Andi Oliver. The programme will help audiences to create the perfect Christmas dish for everything from an impromptu party to a planned family gathering, with celebrity guests and chefs appearing across the fortnight.

Fern Britton Meets... will be on air every Sunday in the run up to Christmas with guests including Alexander Armstrong, Nigel Benn and Rebecca Ferguson; and Operation Christmas will run across one whole week in December to reveal what it takes to deliver a truly special Christmas for the shoppers, workers, residents and tourists in Greater Manchester.

BBC One’s continuing drama Doctors also celebrates Christmas with a feature episode retelling the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, when Dr Zara decides that The Mill surgery will stage its own festive performance to cheer up her son who is disappointed with his casting in the school nativity. And Father Brown also returns for its first ever Christmas special.

Me neither. Just for a free coke. I remember when it came to ASDA, Coryton, Cardiff last year there was absolute bedlum on the A470 with commuters trying to get home from work versus people trying to get to the ASDA store (which sits off a roundabout joining the A470) to see it. Hours worth of queues if I remember correctly, rediculous.

On the "who's starting the next thread", has a resolution been agreed? I am a long time lurker and occasional poster and agree it is subjective with regards to what constitutes a "regular". For what it's worth, I don't consider myself one and would not want to start the thread, but good to know that everyone is welcome

Looking forward to Fern Britton, Doctors and Father Brown. I'm glad Fern Britton is back on Sunday morning's as it was really good last year.

I quite enjoyed watching that when it was last on, a couple of years ago.
Not sure who the new presenters are though. (I don't watch Saturday Kitchen).

The majority wanted it left as it was so the winner of the guess the cover competition will get to start it - if it were you who won there would be nothing to worry about in starting one )the comp is open to all regulars and lurkers)

With Christmas day on a Sunday this year will it be almost normal programmes until the Friday(23rd) before?

I know if Christmas day lands on a Friday or Saturday they usually change the schedule for the whole week.

I think they'll be the same for the most part until Xmas Eve but BBC1 will probably show films or something during the afternoons in the week up to December 23rd.
