Oh dear not a good one.
The CGI was poor in places, shame as parts were done well..
Be honest, we have foxes round our way in the gardens in the summer evenings and they are a nuisance and would have left a big pile of something inside the trampoline.
The music is not quite right somehow.
Mind you do like the range of goods they are selling related to it, quite nice. If I was still a kid, I'd be asking for the Pyjama sets

The Morrison's one is the best so far.

I think they'll be the same for the most part until Xmas Eve but BBC1 will probably show films or something during the afternoons in the week up to December 23rd.
I think that it is sad that TV, especially the awful ITV, is essentially all normal until 1-2 days before. I remember when growing up the build up would be essentially from 1st December onwards, not that I watch much TV on the day itself, I do wish it was like it was back then where you felt we were all in it together properly. Then again ITV is only about reality zzzzzzz TV these days so it isn't a shock really

ITV are showing a repeat of Let's Do Christmas With Gino And Mel on Sunday the 20th, find this a bit weird.

Daytime will be business as usual from 6 am to 6pm if 2010 is anything to go by.

Last year BBC1 showed the first three Indiana Jones movies in the afternoon on December 21st-23rd. I think they also showed some animated movies around teatime as well on the same dates, so there might be a few changes to regular schedules from about mid week.

I meant the last time Christmas fell on a Sunday was 2010. And they had normal schedules right up to Fri Dec 23.

I think we may get a changed schedule on Friday but the rest of the week will probably be unchanged. Maybe a couple of comedy repeats like Only Fools or afternoon films between the News at One and Pointless.

I'd have thought Christmas kitchen would just replace Saturday kitchen

Don't forget to enter the Guess the Cover competition!

A reminder of the rules for the Cover competition

GUESS THE COVER OF THE CHRISTMAS RADIO TIMES 2016

The competition will open at 12.01am on Saturday October 29th
(No entries will be accepted before then)

The prize will be a 2017 calendar featuring past Radio Times Covers

This year everyone will be entitled to TWO entries!

Post your entries in this thread :

Your first entry should be your guess for a Traditional Christmas cover

(Please note entries that just say Santa Claus or Christmas Tree etc are not allowed, be as detailed as possible)

Your second entry should be your guess for a cover that may feature a Specific TV (or Radio) Programme or Programmes or TV Star(s)
(Again just the name of the programme/TV Star is not acceptable please give more detail)

Please post your entry as follows :

A) Your guess for a traditional cover

B) Your guess for a specific programme(s) etc cover

The winner will be either whoever gets it right or whoever I deem to be the closest!

In the event of a tie, names will be put into a hat and a winner will be drawn from that.

The winner will be announced on this thread and they will also be notified by private message.

Competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday November 20th.
(Or earlier if Radio Times reveal the cover before then!)

In the event of there being more than one cover and more than one person being right, those who are right will have their names put in a hat and a winner drawn at random

My decision will be final!

(i) The winner will be announced as soon as Radio Times officially confirm the cover.

Those of you who like to listen to special Christmas Radio stations might be interested in this report from the Radio Today website http://www.radiotoday.co.uk/2016/11/...ed-for-the-uk/
Also why do many Radio stations stop playing Christmas music on Boxing Day ?
When I was younger I remember Radio stations playing Christmas music and jingles right up to New Years Day.
