As per the spoiler thread - Jay will not be doing the Jive in the final but will be doing the Quickstep. (These are comments apparently made during the results show that were cut for broadcast.)

I'm guessing Katie & Anton's showdance will be heavily ballroom based, so it will be interesting to see what their other dances are - could they get away with not doing any latin? Her VW will probably be in there somewhere... if she has to do latin then probably the Rumba?

I would think Georgia must have Charleston as the couples' choice. I think judges' choice might be Samba as there was a mistake they could have ironed out IIRC. I can also see Kellie having the Charleston.

The recent change in the format of the final has really put a bit of a dampener on it for me - it used to be a celebration of the best dances of the series, and now it's a celebration of all the mediocre dances the finalists mucked up the first time around and are dancing again in the hope they'll do them a little bit better. Lord knows how many Week 1 Jives and Cha-Cha-Chas we're going to have to sit through.

(for the judges' choice I'd guess Jay's Quickstep, Katie's Jive, Kellie's Waltz and either Georgia's Quickstep or Jive, and for the couples' choice I'd guess Jay's... erm... Tango (really? No Jive? At all? Sure?), Katie's Viennese Waltz, Kellie's Jive and Georgia's Charleston)

Didn't Jay say his Rumba was his favourite dance? That might be Jay & Aliona's couples' choice dance in place of the jive.

How come Jay isn't doing the jive?????

I imagine Katie will be doing the VW and the Tango.

Rumba may have been Jay's favourite but it is not a crowd pleaser. He should go for one of the other faster dances, even if not the jive.

I think Katie will have the Tango and V Waltz for judges choice/own favourite respectively. If she has to do a latin what about her Jive which was great for Week 1? People go on about her latin but Abbey didn't exactly excel in latin with a dodgy Cha Cha, Jive and Salsa. It made me wonder if I could remember a time when the opposite occured whereby a finalist was overall better in the latin than ballroom?

I think the judges for Katie will pick the VW from week 4 since Craig said it is one of their favourites. if it's one to improve it would be week 7 quickstep since the judges said Anton gave an amitious routine and it was almost nailed and had there been another week it would have being brilliant. they may get another chance. for their choice think it will be their AS from week 9. Pray that they will do their VW from week 4 becuase Anton is my fave proffessional. they topped the leaderboard with this dance and it just happened to be my 21st birthday when it happened so I hope i get a chance to relive such a brilliant moment for me

I really hope Kellie does the Charleston again.

It's speculation based on Georgia's Salsa being removed from youtube and now suddenly uploaded again.

I'd actually like to see Jay attempt to improve his Quickstep as I had been expecting him to nail it and he didn't. I can re-watch the Jive any time I like; nothing to improve on there.

As for Katie: Abbey did 2 ballroom dances in her final so I'm sure Katie can get away with it.

It's mindless if Jay doesn't do the Jive - It's was his best dance, certainly from the crowd pleasing angle and is star quality.

Judges' choices, i.e. ones to be bettered:
Georgia - Samba
Jay - QS or foxtrot
Katie - Jive (although I'm partial to the salsa)
Kellie - Tango

Couples' choice:
Georgia - Foxtrot
Jay - Salsa
Katie - VW
Kellie - Samba

I wonder if Kellie could be like Kara and do one of her dances from yesterday to put her at an advantage in terms of training. Her Rumba could be judges pick as one to improve on so to give it 40 since they seemed keen to or they could choose the AS as their fave to tempt Craig to give them a 10?

I think I'd put Jay in this category

In the series 8 final, the first dance was "highest scoring dance", so they had to break the rules there and have Kara do a SF dance.

I think it was the week Peter Andre went out and on ITT on the Monday Jay said he had watched his Tango lots of times but not the Jive. The Tango may well be his choice unless his last 2 or 3 dances have changed his mind.

This year has been an interesting series for me because I've changed my favourite every 2-3 weeks as opposed to supporting one couple strongly throughout. In order it was Katie, Anita, Georgia and much to my shock most recently Kellie! The big question now is can Anton get a 10 which would finish off his narrative nicely for this series perfectly and would be like winning for him I guess (and yes I know it's about Katie!).

Sadly this couple is becoming more about Anton's journey than Katie's (and I know you qualified your remark in parentheses).

If Jay doesn't do his jive it will be crazy, people love it and it's a showstopper.
I think there's many people who have been wanting him in the final to see it again.
