TuneInRadio app on android question ?
I've been using TuneIn radio on an iphone for years with no problems but have recently changed to android. The problem I have is that as soon as I leave the app to do something else like read emails or look at web pages the app closes and the radio stops. On the iphone I was always able to keep the radio playing while I was doing other things and using other apps etc. Am I missing something obvious in the android apps settings ? It pointless to me if I cant use my phone at all when the radio is playing.
Its fine on other radio apps, like Talksport for example, where I can leave the app and do other things on my phone but this isnt the case for TuneIn radio. Thanks in advance. |

The way you describe how it works on iOS is the same as it works on my Android Moto G.
I can’t see any setting for this in the app so it must be just the way it works i.e. on or off no matter what you do elsewhere on the phone unless of course you take a phone call. The only thing I can suggest is to go into the app > force close > clear cache and data then restart the app from the icon. If that don’t work do the same again but after doing that remove the app then re-install but restart the phone before re-installing just for good measure. I just woke up to this being the tablet section so I’ve doubled checked and the App works the same way on my Nexus 7 Tab too.
