The girl has been deluded by her own hype the show has produced for her. I know she's 17 and all but they are really setting her up for a big fall. Fame is short.

That's why they all enter the show. They're not exactly hoping to help bring about world peace by entering.

Well, Leona performed last night and she won in 2006. If fame is short then Leona sure has done well to still be appearing on the show 9 years on.

Fame is only short if you're crap.

And looked at where is she now. Her music isn't doing well now.

I really dislike the tone of Louisa's voice. Who could listen to a whole album of that screechy old woman's voice? She's not even cute and she doesn't connect with the audience one bit - it's all about her getting the chance to belt out some angst. She's so boring.

Completely delusional.

True, but she is only 17!

I know that's mentioned a lot on the show, but come on... what were some of you here like at 17? It's easy to project your own maturity on to someone at that age, forgetting what you were like then.

I bet the show is a total mind ****! Imagine what it's like going through all that at that age- having millions of people watching you sing, it'd warp you no doubt!

She should be focused more on wanting to become as good as she can be in order to be successful.
Hearing that her desire is simply to live a superstar life is a bit saddening to hear. It makes you think of the sort of person who dreams of fame and money for fame and money's sake, and then is spat out by the industry onto the scrap heap of all the other previous wannabes.

She could be massive given the right songwriters etc, I think she should work with Demi Lovato's songwriters, then she could make it big in the US

XF is a show for wannabes it seems. Spirit of the age.

If singing is just a means to an end for her then it explains why her singing is so utterly devoid of any emotion.

I guess this means only one or two albums for her then she doesn't sound like she has a passion for singing if she's wanting it for the superstar life.

Where did she say she wants a superstar lifestyle?

Make the most of the next six months then.

I've got a friend who works in the production team and he told me that a girl called Louisa will win this year. That was in very early summer. It was fixed from the start...

She will now have to step up and give Simon exactly what he wants or face being dropped like others have been after they have lost the hype of winning the show 12 months down the line.

Yep, it's the singing (loose term) Big Brother!

I do hope she has a good support network around her becauseI do agree she's been swept along by the whole 'you'll be the biggest thing since sliced bread' extreme hype that they throw at contestants year on year. I know they all are to some extent, but Louisa is only 17 and possibly a bit more vulnerable to it.

I did notice last night there was a little bit of it creeping into some of the things Louisa said - the 'superstar lifestyle' bit and also (and I am paraphrasing here because I can't remember the exact words she used) there was something about her going to college but now she was on the show and didn't want it to end - the undertone being that she could make it in superstardom and wouldn't need things like college.

I hope someone has sat down with her and shown her the previous X Factor winners and that success is not guaranteed and, even if it is, is often fleeting. I hope she does get the support she needs because she's more likely to come out of this a more mature artist and possibly have a bit more staying power.

Yes, that was the first glimpse of showing her real personality. She surely appears to be mature in many ways, but constantly telling her she was the best thing out of X-Factor week after week is not going to help her by any means.

With a lot of training she can improve in certain areas, but IMO the bad habits in her singing is not going to go away. Either way she has a fantastic range and able to sing in tune.

If she doesn't quite make it there is always IAC quite a popular route for reality TV bods to take when they want to try and further their careers.

I quite like Louisa and glad she won, however, I think at 17 she has a lot of learning to do. On being asked how she would be successful this morning when so many other winners haven't been (daft question, I know) she replied along the lines that she was prepared to work hard for it and inferred that others maybe hadn't or didn't want it as much as she does. Sorry, Louisa, but it takes more than hard work, you need a bit of luck too and the backing of the right people - I am sure most of the other winners worked (and still do) twice as hard as those who had the good fortune to have Simon's backing. Luckily, so far, it looks like she does.

Not sure why people are making a big deal out of this tbh. She was just excited as any 17 year old kid would be in the same position.
