Monica Michael fell quickly between week 1 and 3

4th Impact and Lauren's votes held up well despite the show desperately deramping them.

Vote 2 is the top five running order.

Slightly double edged sword for 4th Impact. I think if they'd hit the bottom against Anton instead of Ché they could've made at least week 6.

Nope; Ben lost three weeks, and Sam lost four. Matt's the best confirmed one, winning all but one of his weeks, though depending on who you believe Leona either ties Matt, or won every single week during her series.

There were way more weeks in those series to be fair. You need to work out a percentage of wins.

Sam also lost three weeks not four.

to be fair there were more weeks for ben/sam so its hard to say if Louisa would of won/lost more weeks if there was more week

Quite a winning margin on finale night were we all sucked in an age or regional or timed break down would also be interesting however here as well

Once the only other singer had left, she had no competition.

These stats makes you wonder why they were pimping Louisa so hard ? i was expecting more of an alexandra burke type journey and thats why they were pimping her so hard because they knew they could get her to the top rather than she was already top

Kinda "meh" results really. Nothing to really comment on. Other than that Lauren and 4th Impact could have done a lot better if the producers were trying to help rather than hinder them.

Also it looks like the Daily Star leak for week 1 was wrong.

Actually, the only one I remembered off the top of my head was Matt. I had to look up the rest on Wikipedia.

In any case, I think Leona's probably the show's most dominant winner, since by all accounts she completely annihilated Ray Quinn in her finale, while Matt's victory was actually quite close.

Andrea won the first 3 weeks of last year and Nicholas beat Sam at least twice in the vote I think.

Yeah I don't get why they had to pimp her as she was running away with the vote

Alrighty, time to get my voting stats cap on.

Looking at the stats right now, we can see straight away that the nation was extremely divided on choosing whether to keep the show for one Series or to have it killed off this year.

The fact that there were fewer shows this year, it hasn't allowed much talking points to be made. ITV's weird choice over planning the Rugby schedule also contributed to what has been a dire Series.

it was an uphill struggle for the groups. 4th Impact had all the group hype on Show 1, bombed in show 2 (apart from R&B who thrived on it) before being shown the door by show 5 and I am kinda surprised that Alien Uncovered were third from bottom so if it had gone to deadlock, Keira would've been sent home a week earlier.

There was no chance for the Overs this year and it's not hard to see why, the producers goal was to get them out as early as possible, so when Anton reached third on show 1, they turned up the aim to get them out.

The Boys were hit and miss, Seann was not as popular as some of us thought and Mason got a lot of people talking for both right and wrong reasons, that left Che as the only boy the public was able to get behind to until he emerged in the sing-off, allowing him to regain his support that carried him to third in the final.

As for the girls, well Monica had the contestant comeback support and with Louisa being the chosen one and Lauren having the Essex/Girl next door vote, Kiera just didn't stand a chance and went out, almost being forgotten in the process. Monica was unable to last long a show later and then Lauren followed suit two shows later.

I then thought that once again the girls category was going to be wiped out, but then I remembered that Louisa got to the final and she is the first girl to have reached the final since Amelia Lily, but Louisa did better by getting there with no sing-off appearance. Her winning also makes her the first girl in the category to have won since Alexandra Burke.

So in summary, half of the voters wanted the show to be axed this year, but once Che was gone, that left a huge pile of balled-lover type voters to switch to another act and therefore giving Louisa the win and by a landslide too.

because they were not pimping her to win the show , they dont care who wins the show , they are pimping her to establish a platform for what they want her to do after the show

its all a big marketing campaign for syco , the result of the voting is just an after-thought for them

The Live Shows were so rushed this series. Fair enough a double elimination here and there, but one every week was terrible.

No surprises there at all except I really thought Anton would've been top with about 40% of the vote, the way they destroyed him in the following weeks. I'm also surprised that Louisa was topping the vote to start with, then dropped off, then rose back up to the top.

No other winner has done that, right? They either slay all the way through (Sam B, Matt, Ben) or work their way up gradually (Little Mix, Alexandra).

So Louisa has had this virtually in the bag from the start.

Reggie, Lauren and Che were close. No one else had a chance at all.

Monica and 4th Impact started high but lost momentum half way through.

The Final: Che not any where near, Reggie and Bollie farer away than I expected. She's had it won for weeks and it's not surprising at all. Very talented and deserving. A great winner.

I'm pleasantly surprised about 4th Impact being so high on Week 1, it's a shame they didn't get pimped more

I do like how the final 5 were pretty much decided from Week 2 onwards
