Agree completely! Tristan has been the best this series - I think he's absolutely great. Patient and supportive teacher and not all about the winning (which might not help him actually). I love his character and it doesn't hurt that he's v good looking

Looking at this year, take Jay out of the equation, Iwan, Anthony, and Peter should all have done better than they did, so having 4 decent male celebs isn't out of the question. Janette will take the Daniel O Donnell figure for next year if there's any justice.
With a male winner, we might get a new male pro and an extra female celeb. There may be more female duffers, and Kevin and Gio will be in line to take them. I suspect Anton might be retired now he's been a finalist.

Jay aside, when was the last legitimate male ringer? It seems we tend to get fewer of them. Simon would maybe count as a boyband guy I guess but it does seem there aren't as many.
I would like Natalie, Jo, Karen and Brendan to get potential contenders (Brendan more to see if he can put his enthusiasm for the other celebs into maybe enthusiasm for his own again), beyond that, I don't think Tristan would necessarily enjoy a ringer (also I'm still not that convinced by him as I think Jamelua should have been better), and I'd be interested to see Gleb with a duffer because I think he'd be good with them and it would hopefully make people give him a bit of a break.

I don't get why Kristinais due a contender. She had Simon Webbe last year, who on paper is a contender as it gets.

Male ringers that I can think of: Louis smith (almost all gymnasts do ballet and he certainly did), Jason Donovan, Matt Baker, Scott maslen (of sorts). Peter Andre, Simon Webbe and even Mark Wright who attended stage school could also be classified as ringers depending on your definition of ringer.
Kristina had the boybander only last year. She didn't take the chance, nor did she with Jason Donovan. Why is she due another contender?

With Aliona and Ola gone none of the remaining female pros have ever won. Nor any of the names bandied about as returning pros. I have a feeling we may see 2 completely new female pros next season. I don't know why people go on so much about pros returning having left before.
Aljaz- Middler/Bubbly Partner: Was good with Alison so the producers may take this into consideration.
Anton- Duffer- He was rubbish with Katie, sorry!
Brendan- Contender- One last chance to see if he should be kept on the show. Will he be more interested if he got another Lisa or Sophie? I hope so because I haven't been impressed with his attitude to Sunetra or Kirsty.
Giovanni- Middler/Contender- If you look at Pasha and Kevin, Runner ups on their first year normally get a contender the following year, and I would like to see him with someone good again. Or a middler with potential like Anita.
Gleb- Who knows???- He could go either way. How would he do with a DVO or Natalie Gumede ringer?, How would the Gleb Specials fit into a Widdy or Nancy Routine?

What you said is total rubbish. they were in the top half of the leaderboard more than half the time and were top week 4. If he wasn't good she wouldn't be able to dance to that standard. also if he wasn't good with her then they wouldn't have got to 4th place or to the final. he would have finished where he usually does around 9th but he didn't with Katie. At least there is evidence and validity to my point and the same can not be said for yours and that's the end of this discussion since I'm right and your wrong and I know what I'm talking about

They were in the top half of the leaderboard three times (Week 1, Week 2 and Week 4). If you're going to get overly defensive over someone, at least make sure you actually get your facts right first.
