George Michael could be a Judge next year according to the Front page of one of tomorrows front pages.

doesn't really matter who the judges are unless the fix the format and production

imo they need to strip back all the gimmicks, have proper constructive criticism of the acts rather than everything's "amazing" and get back to a focus on the music

Without the gimmicks, some people will say that the show isn't fun...

Anyways, that would mean goodbye Nick...

i didn't say "no gimmicks" i said strip them back , it was getting ridiculous this year, there were more dancers on stage at times than the population of a small country

Can't see it happening he isn't remotely relevant, would be unknown to.a young audience, although boy George turning up strictly is equally bizarre

I hope George Michael will be a judge next year. He'd be entertaining for sure!

Gimmicks can't be stripped back...either there are gimmicks or there are none...

going from 100 dancers to 5 dancers is stripping back but still having the "gimmick"

But there will still be the acts jumping around and not really singing with loud pumped up beats so you can't tell how bad their vocals are, not much difference...

George Michael isn't relevant

No wonder this show has gone to the dogs when one of the greatest British singers is deemed irrelevant

George would be brilliant. He's honest, open and more than anything, is a bloody talent. If he wants in, Cowell would be mental to say no.

Agree with M though, the show has bigger issues than the judges and there needs to be a radical rethink before next year. I never thought I'd say it but bring back Brian Friedman as well. His productions might be bonkers but this year it looked like the work experience kid had been given 476 dancers and a tenner.

Love George Michael but he would have to have sorted his issues before he would even be considered

Considering Tulisa lost the job over suspected drug use, it would be more than a tad inappropriate to hire someone with more than one drug conviction and who has also been charged with one lude act in a public toilet and admitted to more.

Indeed, he would be an absolute scoop, the biggest name they have ever had, it would only work though if he has sorted himself out, which I hope he has.

Getting Yog is the best thing that could happen to the show.

George would be an excellent choice, he has the track record in the business, and credibility, as long as he is healthy. And it could be good for him.

He'd be great for the show him or Tom Jones but I can see itv bringing him back on The Voice instead

I don't really think it's been the same since they got rid of Gary. At least when he said something you knew it was constructive and he was in a place of experience. Simon and Gary on a panel together would be great but George would make an excellent judge. Rita made a really good judge also but I've always thought though Cheryl came from a show like this she's not the ideal person to lay critique.

I think he would be suited to the voice than X factor .

The voice is more technical and he would be better there .

Can't see ITV wanting boy George on the voice though

The X factor is little substance so that's why he wouldn't be that relevant and glam judges are more key there

That's their issue isn't it really? The audience they want are a niche group of t**ts and morons

What audience do they want though? They claim to be after the 16-24 audience but the songs, styling and general demeanor of the show is aimed firmly in middle aged territory. I'm 45 and I find the whole show dated and old fashioned so God alone only knows what teenagers think
