It was her pushed in a direction
Did she say it ? 🤔
They pushed her to do the cover album so she was forced to leave. Like a queen.

Glassheart wasn't the direction she wanted to go either

that's obvious considering she paid it dust on I AM Tour

That's why she was inspired by Fraser and wanted to work with him more ? 😄 I know she wanted to go different direction Glassheart 1.0 but she seemed very satisfied with Glassheart excluding Lovebird being a single.

- great people are amazing!
- maybe ?
- I've been working with different producers now and I'm very excited about it
- yes I definitely prefer it to my first tour because these venues are more intimate I can connect with my fans better and the sound is amazing.
- hahahaha I just wanna keep making music because that's what I love.

You're welcome 😘
Ahaha!! That sounds exactly like leona 😂😂

Yeah I think the songs she makes she's proud of, but I think if Leona had full control over everything, I think we'd have had totally different albums Anyway, Im desperate to know what's next

We'll have March 18th Cirque Du Soleil, then I think she'll have a break. So I think begin April she'll be back in studio

Also, I hope they're going for collabs. I remember Seb (that vanished from the earth suddenly) said they're focusing on Leona now so maybe they were thinking of collabs but they waited for next album.

Ye she definitely loved some of the material on the album. "Fireflies"/"Glassheart" in particular.

I think she wasn't happy with Glassheart 1.0 so pushed to re-do some of it. Then after it wasn't as successful as the label hoped, it was no more power for Leona and they tried to make her do a blues cover album. Glad she managed to change labels.

Hopefully her work with Def Jam will be great. If everything goes well, Def Jam will have Leona featured on label mates material and perhaps produce an amazing R&B/Pop album. *_*

it would be interesting if they added a few more dates to the tour in UK considering it has sold better than we expected. she would also probably sell well in small venues in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Oh and Ireland but for some reason she keeps shading us lol

Yeah me too. I hope she doesn't keep us in the dark for too long. I'm dreading the end of the of the tour because it's gonna be so quiet here unless we find out what she's doing next.

Is Leona still with Island then? People on here seem to just mention DefJam. Also whilst we're talking about Glassheart, is now a time for the original Trouble to leak... Soe? 😁😜

Yeah she is still with them, but when she first started recording again Soe told us it was Def Jam funding it, so I think we all presumed they are taking the lead more, at least at that time.

Though I want Def Jam to take control and really help Leona hone a really great R&B record and really try and break her in the States again.

Wow I've never relised how big def jam are. I've just looked at all their artist and most of them are huge right now. It makes me so proud of her and just shows how relevant she still is that she was signed to such a big label. And it makes me even more excited for the next album.

Kelly Clarkson performed "Piece By Piece" on American Idol and it's now number one on iTunes. Her album is also Top 5. American Idol is by current rating standards not doing very well and somehow this managed to happen. Also this was Kelly's least successful album campaign.

Goes to show that when all the right things align anything can happen. I wish labels didn't drop the ball on projects just because thing go wrong in the beginning. In the US especially, "I Am" has/had so much more potential. It's only been six months since its release. They could still send FUMF to radio just for fun?

The concert in Birmingham was brill last night. The audience were on their feet. It is so good to see the love and appreciation.

Leona seems so much happier now and it shows in her performance. When I look back at the Glassheart era and tour Leona wasn't in a good place. I think the strain with syco was showing.

Leona still has a loyal fan base after 10 years, and I can seriously still see her selling tours in future years. She responds so well to the love from the audience.

I thought all the tracks from I Am came across so well live. So sorry I have no more concerts booked.

What artist would you like to work with in the future?
I really love Sia, I’ve written with her before, so I’d really like to work with her again. I think Bruno Mars has such a fantastic voice and I really love Hozier. I’m a big fan of male singers, so I’d like to do some duets, Sam Smith obviously!

OMG Leona, make this happen, please!

Broken Glass >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Should have sent this to Leona, she'd have owned that. Although, it sounds very Sia and I hope I never hear that if Leona works with Sia again

Glad you enjoyed it again.

I wish I was seeing her again myself, but it was so good that I think I'll just hold on to the amazing memories and enjoy the rest of the tour vicariously. Even though I keep getting twinges and checking for possible seats.

I agree with what you say about the Glassheart tour. Looking back, although Leona performed really well as always, she didn't seem completely happy.

From the article Alfonso posted.

How do you create the concept behind your tour?

Well I come up with how I want people to feel, and then when I start from there, I build the show around that. The main thing is that I want people to feel uplifted, and I want it to be very positive and I just feel like, there’s so much craziness going on, I just want it to be something where people come together and feel positive and feel love, and feel good about themselves. And then I’ve got my band, who are amazing, and this time I’m going on tour with two singers who have a gospel background, so that’s going to give a very uplifting atmosphere. I have different ideas that I want to implement into the show and then visually we come up with all those concepts.
She has certainly succeeded in her aim.
