I'm so surprised how well the tour has sold considering little to no promotion and no real hit single since One More Sleep. She just needs, no deserves to have hits and play to even bigger crowds.

Part of it is the smaller venues. This tour has been her smallest in terms of seat capacity. Total tickets available to buy for this tour is around the 30,000 mark. The album's sold around 20-25k in the UK and when you take into account fans overseas it isn't too surprising. Although maybe ticketmaster was misleading us with all those empty seats and that the tickets were sold but the seats hadn't been marked off or something? I suppose there's the fact that you can buy tickets the day of the tour date, so some people may have passed to venues and saw an advertisement for tickets for Leona and bought them.

We could of been looking at a sold out tour if ticket prices were slightly cheaper. Should make a good profit with the ticket sales and tour merch sales.

Apart from the German and Swiss dates I didn't think there was much difference between the Glassheart Tour and the I Am tour in term of venues.

Bleeding Love is really one of the greatest pop songs of this century at least. One of the best vocal performances of this generation as well.

She did some much larger venues during Glassheart Tour. These are capacity for the I Am tour:

Liverpool - 2,350
Sheffield City Hall - 2,271
Manchester - 2,400
Gateshead - 1,640
Bournemouth - 4,100 or 2,000
Birmingham - 2,262
Bristol - 2,075
Cardiff - 2,000
London - 2,286
London - 2,286
Ipswich - 1,551
Glasgow - 3,000
Nottingham - 1,186
Plymouth - 4,000 or 2,500

Glassheart UK leg:

Liverpool - ~8,800
London x2 - ~5,000
Birmingham - 15,000
Glasgow - 3,000
Sheffield - 2,200
Newcastle - 2,000
Brighton - 4,500
Nottingham - 1,100
Ipswich - 1,600
Edinburgh - 3,000
Oxford - 1,800
Cardiff - 5,000 or 7,500
Machester - 3,500
Scarborough - 6,500
Plymouth - 4,000
Bournmeouth - 4,100

As well as more dates, the places were quite a bit larger, particularly Liverpool/Birmingham where she did arenas. I think small but frequent tours would be better for Leona though, especially in regards to her voice. She really pushed her voice on the Glassheart tour.

I went to Liverpool for the Glassheart tour. It wasn't the full arena, just a sectioned off bit at the back. And it wasn't full to absolute capacity. Maybe Birmingham was the same. I don't think that the Glassheart Tour would have worked in a full arena.

So if you take those out, the drop in audience isn't huge. Which is remarkable considering everything. And I think, she has been more enthusiastically received, certainly in my experience. In large part perhaps because she was so amazingly energetic and positive a stage presence.

I honestly didn't expect the tour to go the way it has after the album's performance. I am so impressed by the whole thing.

I don't think the space at Liverpool was much smaller, than the Empire. But the atmosphere was nowhere as good. This tour has definitely been a step up performance wise.

I agree. I think that Leona works best in the concert hall settings that she mainly used this time. The connection with the audience and sound suits her very well.

I am being selfish here but in a way I like it how it is as I keep getting so close to Leona and seeing her close up where as The Labyrinth Tour I was so far away from her apart from in Liverpool I had good seats, I prefer these small places believe me I sometimes wish Paul McCartney wasn't so big as I would be able to see him better that way, I would kill to see Paul in these smaller places as it is so much better than arenas.
Also no one would be meeting her outside either if she was massive.

Yea I know the venus are smaller but like you said the prices were high for this tour. When i went to see Labrinth I think I paid 30 GH I think was 45 but this one was 100+ but this one by far was my fave. Probably because I got a cuddle and a handshake lol

Concert Halls and theatres are the best way of seeing an artist in my opinion. You can see the artist and the acoustics are very good. They are also much nicer buildings and seats.

Arenas are soulless places.

Ah really looking forward to the show tonight.

For anyone planning on waiting for her after the show, are you bringing anything for her to sign?

And also, for people who have gone previously who been on the first few rows, do you have to be discreet when taking videos? I'm in the second row so was hoping to get a few videos but don't want to get thrown or something lol.

Everyone going to the London shows the next 2 nights enjoy. The venues for this tour have been amazing, and the rapport between Leona and the fans. So glad I have experienced this. I wish I could turn back the clock and see the show again.

Envoirment, sorry for your loss and I hope you manage to enjoy the show. Music can be a great help.

Looking forward to hearing all the reviews.
