Not really, there's no "magic list" of performers to pick from. Most of the time the company themselves goes through a list of potential artists to involve in the project and then contact them. Leona has been more visible in the US the last few months and her album I Am and the whole empowerment theme fitted in well with their charity event so they contact her.

Of course they don't contact Leona herself - they'd contact her management then Leona's management will let her know then she can contact them directly if interested and such.

I am pretty sure Leona herself revealed that she was supposed to be touring for a lot longer this year but cut it short to get straight back to recording, so not just speculation by people here.

As for Seb, I can't remember where I read it but I think he was only a temporary manager for Leona, he is now the creative director at Tidal.

Also, I just compared her recent performances of "Bleeding Love" with her first performances of it back in 2007.

What's really evident is that she's changed a lot vocally since (in terms of the way she sings). She doesn't sing as much in head voice/falsetto to give a softer approach to the verses of the song, particualrly the start. Her vibrato was very slow on her belts, whereas now her vibrato is beautifully fast and she has a lot more power behind her belts as well. Although she sounds almost exactly the same in certains parts of the song that she continues to sing the same. For instance the line - trying hard not to hear, but they talk so loud, their piercing sounds fill my ears, try to fill me with doubt. She sounds almost exactly the same as she did back in 2007/2008!

Another point is that she's changed the song so much over the years through small subtle changes! Her head voice/falsetto isn't as light in its sound as it used to be though. However she still has the same agility on the "kee-ee--ee--e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-ee(too fast for me to decipher lol)" part at the end. I think it's partly due to the fact she seems to be using head voice more so than falsetto.

I am so so excited to see how her voice progresses over the coming months, it can only get better and better and better now that she knows what not to do and how to keep her voice in tip top shape.

Leona's just 30. she has another 10-15 years before she has to worry about her voice aging.

Wasn't really talking about it aging, but more so highlighting how much better she is sounding now than compared to a year ago when she was having problems with her voice. Plus that she's improved a bunch since she first started out and I find it interesting hearing how she's changed from when she first started out until now. Particularly all the small changes she's made over the years to "Bleeding Love" until now.
