I feel so sorry for Leona, another opportunity missed, and having to start again (to a degree) in the uk. But if it didn't work, it didn't work.

I feel really angry that it's just not clicking for Leona in terms of sales. Whatever the reason, whoever is to blame, I want Leona to be commercially successful, and it seems like such a struggle.

I really hope she finds her place and does whatever it takes to be successful in the uk again. I don't think she will have global sales before she does it in the uk. Perhaps moving back here once Cats is done isn't such a bad idea.

The positives are that she's building her profile in the US. Let's hope this translates into sales one day.

I think it's great that Leona is doing Cats and she has the potential to do well in the role, but some people in the last few pages are talking like it's a given that she's going to be nominated for a Tony Award. It's really not that easy and actually insulting to the people who spend years on Broadway and never even get close to being nominated. This will be Leona's first Broadway role and she's going to have to work hard on her craft.

Except no one is, people have been saying it would be great for her and her credibility if she did, no one said it will happen, just the hypothetical.

I mentioned the Tony Awards, but not to say she would win. She went as Andrew Lloyd Webber's guest, where she was probably making some rounds with important people though. So you never know.

I don't think it's a given at all, I just look forward to the possibility of it happening. With the backing of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the odds are in her favour - especially if she gives amazing performances of "Memory"

I can't say that i'm sad about the Island thing. If i'm honest i think the market in the U.K has had more than enough chances to enjoy Leona's amazing music and i'm hoping her next album she releases in the U.S first and promotes here and then branches out from there. The interest obviously exists.
