Wow. She "brought down the house". Terrific. Plus, the show appears to have been refreshed and brought up to date which should mean sellout audiences. Sounds as though it was a great night for Leona and everyone concerned.
Ok I've changed my opinion on Cats completely, she sounds incredible and is getting more love and acclaim now than she has done in years. I don't mind not having music for the time being as all her energy will be going into Cats, I'm sure as soon as she's finished she will get back into the studio, who knows this could inspire her to link up with some great songwriters and create the new Bleeding Love, Leona is probably giggling to herself knowing all the plans for when Cats is finished whilst leaving us in the dark and panicking, hopefully this can only do wonders for her and hopefully motivate her to create some fresh new material that were all highly anticipating, for now Cats is the main focus for her and by the sounds of it she's doing well.
I would just love to know if she still has a record deal for after Cats and if she's still signed to DefJam as they seemed to be really pushing for the best out of a bad situation with I Am and Island etc

I've looked at the NY Post online and Page 6, but haven't seen any new tidbits about Leona which surprises me. Because CATS publicity people have been doing good promo up to now. And this is the runup to opening night. Maybe next week.
Also, why aren't more fans talking about this. I mean this is big time. There was more about Leona promoting her album in little clubs and showcases than about this Broadway debut. I guess musical theater doesn't have many fans here.

Well it makes sense, Leona didn't start her career as a MT act, she started if off as a popstar. I believe though that every single bunny on earth is dying to hear Memory in full, it's probably the most emotional and touching song she's ever sung

Been replaying the rehearsal snippet over and over - damn Leona's vibrato is so FAST. She has so much control over her voice now *_*
What format is it? I'm sure you could rip it via one of those conversion/rip sights like youtube to mp4 or w/e

We had more information about the album to talk about. There isn't a lot of detail about Cats yet.
