I know for a fact that Leona would have handled something like this much better, even though she rarely mimes. Mariah clearly hadn't even warmed up her voice and had zero intentions of singing live.

Artists mime from time to time, Leona has mimed a couple of times in the past. If the wrong track plays and you get caught out, that's the risk you take.

Clearly something more serious is wrong with her voice as the few notes she forced out were terrible. In that situation, surely she could have attempted to sing along unless her voice is completely gone. She didn't sound ill when speaking.

Just poor form to start blaming the production team. Maybe the wrong track was played for Emotions, clearly she was expecting to mime, but no lead vocals played. Her reaction was just unprofessional IMO. I'm sure Leona would never behave that way.

Thank you! Aw, I did actually deliberate over it, as well as Can't Breathe and Run, but they just didn't fit the narrative of the collection as well. I've ordered it in such a way that it tells a story...but I think I'll make more playlists with the others too.

Crying Is Beautiful has some synergy with Perfect Stranger (and that in turn does with Scene of the Crime and Pulse), so I think all those will be in a different collection.

Yeah been leaked more than a year I think There's also Bleeding Love alternative, but I think they removed it

I layered Sardor Milano's live X Factor performance of "Now We Are Free" (theme from Gladiator) over the recent Leona Lewis cover, although I don't have any fancy program to do so, so the quality is a little lacking. Couldn't quite get it to harmonise properly.

I then decided to time it to a slideshow of Leona to fit all the mouth movements and give an idea of what a "live" performance might look like.

This edgy-underground sound of Leona suits her so well! If this was an album with Glassheart as the lead single it would be the coolest

I love it too, and I totally agree! I also forgot to stick in Save Myself there, so I've put it as track 7 now, following Danger Made Me and preceding Strangers. It flows better now too

I did want to include Can't Fight It, but it's too much of a demo (almost ditched Danger Made Me because of that). Also Another Love Song and Favourite Scar fit this album musically, but lyrically they didn't quite fit.

I'd love Leona to appear in some capacity on this year's The Voice. I know there are bigger names out there than her but in terms of coaching - she'd make a great mentor.
