I'm not seeing what the fuss is about, I actually think this is actually one her strongest performances of FUMF so far. The "I GOT" belt in the middle sounds like one of the strongest belts she's hit in a long time.

The YouTube feed sounds like the isolated feed people filter on performances to prove an artist isn't singing live, so it's going to sound really harsh.

And I don't get the hate for FUMF at all. This song is the best fit for events like this.

The fact is that Mariah is in the 40s (if leona is struggling so much now I do not know where she will be in te 40s, that s not a shade but reality)...and Alicia for one bad performance she deliveres 2 great

Leona's voice will be fine when she's in her 40s. Unlike Mariah, she doesn't have nodules.

The only issue with Leona's voice is her upper belts.

Her voice from E3-E5 is solid (her head voice/falsetto is effortless and she can most prob go up to E6/F6 or higher with ease - wish she would show it though!). I think the problem is with the song itself FUMF. It just doesn't do Leona's voice any justice.

Songs like "Time After Time" allow her to show off her beautiful lower-middle register whilst giving her oppotunities to show off some higher notes from time to time.

I think she'll pull it out of the bag for the tour though. I have a good feeling. The tour is a great way to work out any kinks in her voice (upper belts) ready for the next album.

I actually thought that performance was quite good, the only not so good part was the "flames" & her last F#5 was actually pretty good. For the most part, a decent, solid performance, if anything I would have to say it was the backing singers that sounded a little off. Leona sounded great !

I am so fed up of this forum going on about bad vocals, I feel like I am being brain washed then I listen to the said bad performance and it sounds good to my ears.

That first video isn't pitched. It's the same one that was on the live stream. Nothing edited about it.

I don't blame you, I feel the same Every performance gets slated and I have had enough of it! Just cant wait for the tour now and enjoy seeing Leona 3 times.
