I think could be true to be honest, It does sound like a song that would work for Leona, And they did do blank page together before it got given to Christina, And since this new album is all un used demo's other artists didn't want it looks very likely indeed.

Doubt it considering Leona essentially restarted glassheart recordings up again after she wasn't happy with the album - so she'd reject the song again I think.

I was listening to that quite a lot over the last few days and instantly thought what a great song it would have been for Leona.

Anti is definitely Rihanna's bet album to date. It doesn't have that commercial feeling of Loud/TTT/Unapologetic but that's GREAT! It's artistic and original.

The songs Ive heard for GH 1.0 were definitely not upbeat.
I dont think Collide was the reason of the delay.. well, not because "it didnt do well", which actually did do well. I think they didnt want to start with that copyright mess and they werent happy with album in general.
Even Fireflies wasnt as heavy produced as now. Trouble neither

I think Rihanna's album is good, but I expected more from such a long delay. I do respect her for not having a commercial album again. It doesnt always have to be like that, fortunately

In 2011 for Leona opening with 51k and selling less than a silver certification for her first single means not doing well ..nowadays would be awesome but not back in the days.. plus on the same month 1D released their first song and become huge so syco decided to focus more on them that period
Actually I think Sia rejected Leona having it in the end. I follow sia a lot too, and she said now she is more famous if artists are not performing like they once were she prefers to keep songs as they will get heard more likely on her material then these struggling artists - in the interview I actually thought is she talking about Leona?

Well yeah.. now. She's only on her second album (bar those irrelevant albums she did) and her first didn't even sell that well in UK

Emeli Sande performed in 2014. She performed a few songs and they're all on YouTube. Hopefully we get a few from Leona and they're all uploaded. She'll probably perform bleeding love, thunder and maybe FUMF but it doesn't seem like the type of event for FUMF.
I think not releasing Glassheart following Collide was a pivotal mistake in Leona's career. Looking back, collide was a moderate success so releasing then, instead of waiting till trouble the following year would have meant an averagely successfull album, then she could have got back into the studio and kept the momentum going. She looked the best she ever did in 2011, sounded great and had loads of confidence. It felt like by the time they released trouble, she lost a lot of that.
She seems really happy and confident now. But imagine where she could be if 2011 Leona was releasing and flourished in the public eye.

Yeah I agree with this, things could have worked out very differently had they released the original Glassheart and committed to the newer direction Leona went in with it.
Also I really want UnLove Me on this tour, that song should have been a single.

I agree with the streaming..but that a singles success will influence an album certification is nosense to me..singles chart is a thing album is another..a reason more to have a hit these days
This will benefit singles artists like Selena etc. that despite selling a lot of singles they did not do the same with the albums

Well, Clive Davis basically said that he didn't believe in Echo, because Leona co wrote most of the songs, so I wouldn't be surprised, if it was the same case with GH. I think he actually said somewhere, he likes the album, cause there are hits, but that was definitely before it was all re-done.
Plus the underperformance in the UK propably didn't give RCA much courage to release it anyways.
If they only weren't that stupid and released the WW smash Glassheart the song...

It's such a shame. Leona could have easily been up there with Whitney and Mariah. She's definitely the best singer of this generation and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan. Her vocal abilities are unreal especially between 2008 to 2011. It's just a series of bad decisions that have stopped her from reaching that level of success.
Although it doesn't really matter how successful she is. I'm just happy she's still making music and she seems really happy and that's all that matters.
