I agree with Soe here 100%. I think she's actually found a really good place with her songwriting. Thunder, fantastic, FUMF fantastic (not melodically for me, but lyrically yes). I think production is the issue for sure. If you listen to her speak she is eloquent has a strong command over the English language and she writes in the same way she speaks. Listen out for it last time and you'll see. It's nice to see because it makes you appreciate her a lot.

I want her to have Frank Ocean's producer but I'm aware that's not likely because of a small issue. She started with Syco and they kind of made her quite white and then a lot more white. Syco don't really have the resources to manage someone who wants to make MOBO. I think with Leona, that's a great comfort zone for her sound. The R&B/hip hop community would blow up about someone like her. It's just a shame she hasn't made the right links. It's a tough claim, I know. I'm willing to take it on the chin if others disagree and I may be wrong but I feel like she would have been more appreciated in the MOBO community.

Anyone else baffled by the 'Latch' cover? It does nothing for her voice and sounds a lot like 'Ladders' and she performs them one after the other!
She should have done the Sam Smith acoustic version, would have been epic!

I wish she would change the hairstyle. I think it looks really messy and kind of lazy. she still looks great but I would like to see her wear it on a casual day rather than on a tour.

If she's doing covers, I'd love it to be something really unexpected. Hurt and Run were good because it wasn't predictable to cover those artists. It is kinda predictable for Leona to cover Sam Smith. They have similar styles and she's not doing anything groundbreaking with the arrangement.

As there's so much of her own material she's left out in favour of covers, I think she could have done more with the covers.

Well once the tour is over we also have her Cirque Du Soleil performance to look forward to! Hopefully she'll get a good amount of rest and go all out on "Bleeding Love" and "Run" *_*

Being a huge Kelly Clarkson fan I was super proud of this performance and the recognition from the public. Kelly's Piece By Piece album kinda underperformed with Heartbeat Song doing just ok and the second single not charting in Hot 100 but this rare, emotional performance revived the whole era. It's really unexpected. This also gives me hope that with a proper connection with the public Leona surely still has the chance to gain the recognition she deserves again.

Speaking of RnB sound, I would actually love that to happen! Her voice would sound so hot on those recent RnB beats.
I'm really curious which sound this album is going to have, the next few months should be interesting, to see who she's working with etc.

Leona's co-written song did not win last night to become the UK's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest . Apparently she wasn't even mentioned, but the song had her influence all over it.

The winning song was performed by two losers from The Voice (Joe and Jake) - sorry, I suppose I should have said "losing contestants" in case there are any of their fans reading this.

A reminder that Leona is singing Somewhere on the Barbra Streisand Musicares Tribute on Sky Arts (Sky channel 121) at 2pm today. I think she is the third performer so will be on about 2.10pm.
