I don't think it was that easy after all.
Nicky's results were always very close to Sam's and he even ended 1st in weeks 1, 2 and 6.

They had to trap him with songs like Halo, with practically presenting his voting results unfairly biased by Sottish votes, etc.
Even his mentor Louis had to ask the public to vote for Sam at the end!!!

Without them there it really highlighted how terrible Cheryl is and how Louis' spot at the end of the table can never be replaced.

What I didn't predict, was how bad it actually was and how low the viewing figures and social media interaction sunk.

It's also been blatantly obvious they wanted Louisa to win from early auditions, even going as far for Simon to sabotage his own category with his picks, which pretty much all of the public weren't blind to. Hardly an exciting ride when you know who they've chosen to win and will pull out all the stops for them to do so.”

Makes you wonder whats the point of the competition in the first place
As someone said in another thread (or perhaps this one?) it would be much more interesting IMO if they treated all the acts as winners at the start, so each act would really try their hardest and be able to play to their strengths.

It's frustrating because I would have wanted Louisa to win had the competition been fair (she was by and far the best act) - but they cleared the path for her so blatantly that I had lost interest in the show and her winning.

Yeah that's how I see it now, its just entertainment so before when you could rely on judges to choose the best they choose the best to suit the show

Im amazed they get people applying for 2016
