Does anyone care what this butthurt waste of oxygen thinks? I wish the press would stop giving him any attention.

He is so bitter that man, never liked him, the only reason he won XF was because of Sharon and what she said to him.

Nasty, bitter man.

The fact that he brought Simon's mother in to it says it all.

Hes vile , wonder why he bombed as a singer

Simon should send him a case of Lemons. a very big case.

I really liked him on XF and think he's got a lovely voice but he's turned into the mad old boy who sits on the park bench shouting random shite at passers by

He has never gotten over it has he,he was deluded to think Simon would let his album consist of 10of his mediocre self written dirges.

At the time, I thought it was quite harsh what she said to him saying he was a fake, etc., but now I can see she had a point, he has become so bitter and twisted, and I did used to like him then.

About time he got the hell over it right! He's no longer relevant

He didn't get through the first audition. Louis and Sharon said no. Louis said he had an attitude problem. Simon then decided to invite him back because he had a good voice. Bet Simon wishes he'd listened to Louis given the grief over last decade.

Steve Brookstein was treated like shite during his time on X Factor in 2004. Sharon Osbourne made some absolutely disgraceful comments about him yet she's seen as some sort of 'Nation's Favourite'. No wonder the guy's bitter, although I think he should let it go now.

The Xfactor thrives on the hard luck and sob stories of contestants, judges and anyone even remotely involved with it, they often use them to try to gain a contestant popularity and votes so nothing new there.

As for Brookstein his problem stemmed from the fact Sharon O hated him with a passion and never hid the fact she did.

I do think he has played his hand spectacularly badly, but I sort of agree with you. He was character assassinated by Sharon Osbourne on live TV and no one the public did not already know very well could ever have recovered from it. But you reap what you sow and I think he needs to draw a line under it before he chokes on his own bile. They say no one loves a loser but in his case no one loves a winner!

I did love Steve's book, it was great that we got a look into behind the scenes which we all know is now even more manipulated. And it must have been horrible to be kept quiet for so long

But Steve just doesn't know when to stop, it is too much

Geez what a lowlife, I am not a fan of Cowell but making references to his mother is just bang out of order.

I think he is hilarious on Twitter TBH, he is good value and good on him for trying to expose the show for what it is, a sham...........Love how the Press and other lambast him yet in last 48 hours we have seen the usual rubbish about how the show is a fix, Louisas past and the like etc etc so how come they are allowed to make all these claims yet an actual former winner, regardless of his reasons or motives, is all these things because he has things to say? Talk about double standards. I am not a fan of him musically by any stretch but he like the rest of us is entitled to an opinion so leave him to it.

I've read a few snippets of his autobiography "Getting Over the X" and it makes for interesting reading. Some of the things he claims in the book are hardly unbelievable. We're all fans of XF on this forum but let's not act like there's a lot of unethical s**t going on behind the scenes. Max Clifford threatened him with "talk to the press and we'll bury you". Knowing where Clifford currently is and why he is there, I can believe it all.

I think he's Katie Hopkins with a penis to be frank. He's an attention seeking moron who says the first idiotically controversial thing he can think of which will elicit the most reaction.

I do think the way he was treated by Cowell and been airbrushed out of the show's history is utterly farcical - but he's his own worst enemy and really needs to get over it.

He needs to let it go, it's not healthy

I have read the book and can see why he is so bitter, he was doing better before the X factor and it destroyed his credibility. Heard him talk on the radio and came over much better than on Twitter. Twitter he said was the only way he can vent. If he wasn't so near the knuckle he wouldn't be able to get the word out there.

The thing with Steve is that he is right about what he says about the X Factor, He is quite honest about the fact that he benefited from the show's manipulation at the time. When he spoke out about the problems with the show, they used the same manipulative tactics to destroy him. His book is a great read. However, he destroys any sympathy and credibility he has by being such a bell**end. To use the death of Simon's mother to further his agenda is just so low, you end up losing all sympathy for him.

He's been through the process and knows every trick in the shows book.
