So you win a Saturday night light entertainment show and get a crappy little trophy... And everyone goes back to their day jobs ...

It isn't important. It isn't a fix. It isn't some kind of 'grand conspiracy'. It's a piece of fluff on a weekend which doesn't matter in the long run. To anyone.

All this faux outrage from sore losers.... Dear me. No wonder there's no hope for society. ”

Well said Cally'smum.

This is it really. There's nothing obvious at all to say it's any sort of fix, and it
comes across as very unsporting.

The Sun is only a stupid little tabloid - such a pity it got quoted so often. Instead of being able to enjoy the experience of working towards the final show, Anton and Katie have to waste time in interviews justifying their presence there by explaining over and over again that there was no fix, and that the DO went according to rules.

"Unsporting Britain" is my headline, and my answer to the useless Brits who cannot accepted Anita's exit. I know that howls of protest go up every year about this time, but this year it has got ridiculous.

and to think Britain hosted an Olympics just 3 years ago! What happened to all that sporting spirit?

The two papers the Daily Mail ( owns part of ITN) and The Sun ( owners Ken Sky), are BBC bashing as the BBC Charter review us up. SCD presents the BBC in a very favourable light, as it gets 11 million viewers, who enjoy it, so they are running this consistent campaign to keep chipping away at SCD and keep the rumours of a fix up and if they run it every day, some will be gullible and believe it.

As said on recent stories.

Kara story, she refuted said wrong.
Fix story, by Jordan's - both upset, said wrong by BBC in blog, said wrong by Len, Bruno, Alsha Dixon, Katie, Anton, Craig. And Peter, in OK.
Clash story 5/12 was false, ITV comment, made up.
The Katie story, re the foot mist, based on one tweet.

If you love SCD do not buy these papers until this stops.

They are being to,d by thier owners to print anti BBC articles every day.

A few believe it.

It reminds me of a Doctor Who Christmas story where David Tennent said he could destroy the PM with give words, " doesn't she look old". It in the drama cause the PM to go by social media comment. This is what these papers are actually doing, most can see the " evidence" thry are untrue.

I won't be, I watched ITT last night for Anita & Glebs interview, as soon as that ended I switched it over.
I won't be watching the rest of this series, ITT or final, nor the Xmas special as I know who won & I don't particularly like them.

Roll on for Strictly 2016 & hopefully with a new Judging panel (Craig can stay though)

So you are not really going to stop watching, you just won't be watching any more of this series (all 1 programme) or its sister show.

Obviously not, since Gleb opted not to choreograph one. If she would have been able to do salsa, why would he choreograph a hip hop number?

Then the papers spreading rumours and mistruths win.

SCD is a great show, do not let the papers destroy it.

The judges are fair.

As this post was aimed at me I will reply. The Sun is the Biggest Selling Paper therefore to call it a stupid little tabloid is at best petty. And your statement about it being a pity it is quoted so often when was the last time it was quoted.

But it is a stupid tabloid. It makes things up constantly and presents them as facts. That's not a newspaper, that's a tabloid.

As I respect your statement, I do not expect you to post again on the subject.

Goodbye, with regret.

Because you are fun.

Like many others on this thread I thought Anita should have gone through to the final ;Think Anton has gone as far as he can (at least I hope so)as he has a bigger opponent in the final . the Strictly tour Anton does his own show so would not be available. The dry ice should be banned. Have no idea who is on the tour but cant imagine Katie wanting or liking to dance with anyone else

The Sun has made these articles up, FACTs, - Kara refuted hers saying it's not true she didn't say it, the Fixtrot based on ONE tweet, other stories like a XF/SCD clash, a big article, was wrong no clash that night, it was wrong by a week and they quoted an ITV spokesman, and wouldn't ITV note The Suns error that there wasn't a clash? So made up.

The Sun is owned by the " tarnished" Murdoch group, ( phone hacking etc) and owns Sky, They want the BBC out of the way. The Fix stories started by the " Jordan's" James was dropped from SCD fir being rude, Orla is quitting, so both disgruntled. I would say, respectively, please look at all the articles anyone reading them fully will see the massive holes in each story.

I think the "If you're not with us, you're against us" attitude from a lot of camps is very childish and silly. A lot of fans can't be remotely objective and label anyone who isn't a fanatical supporter as a "hater".

As an Anita supporter, I can say her dance was not the correct moves, and she didn't dance the basic correct steps and was pigeon toed. Katie improved in the dance off.

Dry ice, went in ten seconds.

No fix, - all made up by bias newspapers who want to get at the BBC, please, read the articles fully, there full of holes, anyone can see it.

So does the Dail Mail I know it is the wrong place to say this, but I do think ITV should put The X Factor out of its misery and axe it. After all, why did they purchase The Voice and The Voice Kids?

Anyway, I don't see what the big problem is about Anton & Katie getting through. Their Viennese Waltz was far better than Anita and Gleb's Salsa. I knew it was going to be a close decision. What I am not sure about is did Anton not get to the final before back in the first/second series with the Opera singer, Lesley Garrott?

If I was an Anita supporter I COULDN'T HELP but see the truth.

I'm a Katie supporter, in a smallish way as she's not the best dancer and can see her faults. I'm a JAY supporter, and he isn't perfect either.

I can't understand supporters who are so blind to faults and so eager to impute 'fixes' if there's any more credible reason.

I supported RACHEL STEVENS, in the most passionate, partisan way possible, and yet I could UNDERSTAND that Tom was more popular, and was at least comforted that his showdance was bloody awesome and helped me swallow the 'pill' a bit more easily.

I don't understand the mindset of some of the 'wazrobbed' fans.

I save my vitriol for the OBVIOUS bollocky winners. Getting upset because someone who was better than the one I love on the night, when they are OBVIOUSLY crapper than the rest anyway feels like some massive self delusionary waste of time.

No, the Final had fewer contestants then.

Unsporting, where were you when everyone was going on about Peter Andre and it being fixed for him to stay. It can't be a fix for one and not another. The whole show is a joke, the producers do what they like.

The faults on all are clear to see, the papers have their own agenda to fuel the fix, lies.

Apples and oranges. When Peter Andre was saved, the judges completely ignored the point of the DO in order to save him. Hell, if I recall correctly, they even admitted to judging based on past performance and not necessarily the DO performance, where Jamelia did a very accomplished performance, while Peter's dance was utter stompy crap as usual. And I don't even like Jamelia, but she did do well that night in the dance off.

In this case, it's utter crap to call it a fix in Katie's favor because Anita didn't even do a salsa whatsoever. I normally love Anita, but Katie made a vast improvement while Anita didn't actually do the dance that she was assigned. Blame Gleb if you like (makes no difference to me), but Katie deserved to go through based on the DO on the night.

In short: Peter vs. Jamelia was a case of the judges ignoring the DO rules while Katie vs. Anita was a case of most of the judges actually following the DO rules. Totally different.

Them's the breaks, as they say.

That was THEN, and this is now. It was STUPID for the judges to save Andre, or it was a fix.

But it was OBVIOUSLY NOT in this case, because the judges couldn't use the excuse that someone was 'better overall'.

And on the night, they were RIGHT this time.

Because I can use my knowledge, experience, nous and brain.

The 'Scum' is the nasty, disgusting tabloid who virtually accused the victims of Hillsborough of being the architects of their own demise. It believes sex and salacious (often inaccurate and often downright wrong) headlines sells. And, unfortunately, they are right.

Which says a lot about the section of society who buy into its lies. The Fail is another one - obsessed with immigrants (it's all their fault), the weather (it and its rival, The Express vying for who can print the most alarming headline about it - 'killer storms', 'killer heat', 'killer this', 'killer that') and its misogynistic attitude toward women.

They really are bottom scrapers, those rags and real journalists must hate them, because they bring the profession into disrepute.

Katie did not vastly improve. Her ballroom hold was poor and she had gapping. Considering Katie had the easier dance with her in hold you would think it would be vastly better, but it wasn't.
