Great post from someone who was there last week,

This weekend in particular, which saw veteran dancer Anton Du Beke and his celebrity partner Katie Derham pip BBC Countryfile's Anita Rani and fittie new boy Gleb Savchenko to the post for a place in the final, has caused more uproar than ever.
Now, I was fortunate enough to be in the audience for last weekend's shows with a ringside seat at the controversial 'dance-off', and let me tell you, before the decision had even been announced by Head Judge Len Goodman, I and the rest of my fellow spectators had also agreed the better performance was executed by Katie and Anton.
Yes they may have scored lower over all, however, that all important final dance showcase really does seem to be sorting the wheat from the chaff, and exposing any ropey or incorrect choreography.
On the night, and in the nick of time, Katie pulled it out of the bag, simple... Anita's impressive salsa was unfortunately not 'spicy' enough, and second time round felt a little more like a tired cheerleader routine.
Don't get me wrong, the girl is an incredible dancer with the hottest dance partner in the competition, but the decision from the ringside seat was the correct one - and not a producer whispering tactical voting sweet nothings, as has been suggested, in sight.
A cracking semi-final with some terrific routines (Kellie Bright), corking outfits (Georgia May Foote) and some sizzling partner chemistry (Jay McGuiness).
The final four are an entertaining bunch, a great mix of style and energy, and I for one am pretty chuffed for Anton Du Beke... 11 years he's been the 'joke pro', it's nice to see him enjoy an entire series from start to finish, and as a bonafide finalist.
