I had the very first Note back in the day. A friend has the Note 4 and swears by it; it's a very nice device and from what I've seen from his, it's still as fast and whizzy as ever. The big plusses are the removable battery and expandable memory, since removed from the Note 5. Just get the best price you can for it.”
My Note 2 lasted 20 months before it completely packed up. Wouldn't turn on or charge. Still my favourite phone of all time though, it was great.
Got a HTC One M8 as it's replacement .... my opinion? H8 it.
It's buggy. The camera is rubbish. Non-removable battery. The HTC software is crap. Had to send the first phone back twice for repairs within the first 3 months. It just does absolutely random stuff whenever it feels like it.
I'm really tempted to get the Note 4.
