Not really, after she retired from comps with Paolo in Dec 2013 and returned to UK she did one tour of Australia with BTF dancing with Aljaz in April 2014 she joined SCD in September 2014

Wow - how they shift across that floor! Joanne is fabulous (he's not bad, either!).

I wonder if Kellie has seen that - not something I'd want to live up to.

I remain unconvinced that Joanne actually has a spine That quickstep was so fast!

Yes indeed. The tempo is surely not fast enough to reflect all of their different dances. But then I found the song so boring I gave up after 30 seconds on You-Tube. Maybe they'dd do something clever to improve the song *lives in hope*

I dislike the song, it doesn't say showdance to me in any way Even if they were to do a good dance to it, I still feel like it wouldn't be a showdance. If that makes any sense.

Foe me and most likely a lot of viewers, they have been a bit of a letdown for the final already. The whole no jive thing started it off badly. As someone who has voted for him numerous times this season, I'm more excited to see Kellie and Georgia in the final now.

I don't think you can presume to speak for viewers and you've made your personal disappointment quite clear, quite often

Frankly I like the song, it's now stuck in my head. And it clearly a hugely popular. Track with nearly 280m views of the original song on YouTube. So I expect a good chunk of the audience to know and like it.

Also I can detect a lot of different rhythms in the track that suit a number of dance styles and I'm expecting some strictlification of the song (before now they've wrapped 3/4 songs into 4/4 time...) to make it even more suited

Unlike some people I think I'll judge a dance when I see it and not before

Yes, I have made it clear, as have others about many other things, it is what a forum is for after all. The appreciation threads, every day praising their celebs, make it perfectly clear, but the carry on.

I speak for a lot of people who I've spoken to IRL who do not engage with forums such as this who are very disappointed.

The song is good as a song, not a dance song, especially a show dance.
To be honest, I never understand why on earth people mention youtube viewing figures, there's a lot of views on a baby biting a finger, is that amazing? No.
A song can be a great song, just not for a dance.

You're more excited about 'Fix You'? And that says showdance to you? Ok.

I was referring to K&K's quickstep - aren't they reprising it in the final? Or have I got my wires crossed?

Yes, it's their Star Wars themed Charleston.

(Jay is doing QS for the judges' choice)

Ah - that's where I've got mixed up I expect. I thought Jay was doing Charleston - but that's Georgia isn't it (and Kevin!). Can't keep up.

I've become more and more confused about it all. Think if we knew the judges' choices it would make a difference because then you'd just have to remember twelve dances instead of eight dances and a bucketload of uncertain conjectures. My poor brain!!

Indeed, what a jazzy, humdinger of a showdance tune .... not!!! *zzzzzzzzzz*

I loved the training clip of Jay & Aliona's showdance, it's looking fantastic - and they usually step it up to 5th gear on the night so I'm looking forward to seeing something absolutely amazing! I think it's going to bowl over fans and casual viewers alike.

I couldn't give a fupp about the fans-but-not-really-fans who want to bang on about how disappointed they are - and boy don't we all know it!! Oh well, suck it up, you're gonna be a hell of a lot more disappointed on Saturday night when Jay & Aliona smash it. You're gonna be greener than this little guy >>>>
