Every customer in pets at home today have been asked to donate 50p towards animals xmas dinner, they did not say who's dinner
And who is providing the food. The checkout girl i asked was not sure,
Since it is nearly xmas i said yes ok, i donate.

I've donated twice now. As far as I know if you have a VIP card the money goes to your nominated charity. My nominated charity were collecting as well in the supermarket next door. I asked them about donations (the charity's founder was in there). He said that although it's for a dog's Xmas dinner they don't get the cash until January. On the other hand, it's a small charity and they're on target to raise £1500 from it. Will provide for a lot of food for a lot of dogs.

As long as the money goes to where it supposed to.
Unlike some charities.

I said yes to it the other day, but the rest of the time I say no, am fed up with being asked for money every time I shop there.

I send 50quid to Salvation army every year to buy some dinner for the homeless, so I do what I can.

Yes we can only give what we can afford,we cannot help every
Charity or we have nothing for ourselves, tv is bombarded with charity ads now,
We get our heart strings pulled everytime, but what can we do..
So give when and if we can, to who we can..
