More of it is coming back to me - things got really weird, and I thought she was ill, especially when she quit the Indian show and went to Russia, so I started following all her social media and then thought she might have fallen in love with her gorgeous Indian partner, Karan Tacker, and that's why she felt she had to get away from him and go home. I seem to remember some sexy pictures of her and Karan - and some messages back and forth - which I didn't keep dadblasted.

But I was so sure they were having an affair because the messages from Karan to Elena were so sweet and supportive - and the pictures of them were so cuddly (off the show, though maybe the pix were from VT's). Well, I'm sure those pictures/messages are gone forever, but he was one fine looking man !!!

And there I was, feeling sorry for Gleb, when the Izabella situation was revealed on social media, of all things. At least it disabused me of the notion that she was the one who was cheating!

Wonder if I can get a job for the Daily Fail?

Ah yes , I remember the camera going on her in the first shows . A stunningly pretty woman . Very beautiful couple and nice to see they reconciled and got past all that . Not easy after betrayal , good luck to them .

I don't think they were apart very long. Soon after all this Sturm und Drang, she had landed a judging job on the Russian DWTS (she wore glasses to look all judgelike and everything) and Gleb was on there as a pro with his ringer, the ice skater Adelina Sotnikova (they were runnerup but got a trophy for being "Most Congenial" or some such odd thing lol - and of all the adjectives I've dreamt up for Gleb, congenial ain't one of them )

Then the four of them all went to Disneyland in California for a holiday together. It's a shame Karan wasn't invited. So all's well that ends well I guess. And now he's the new Derek Hough, as Elena described him, on the best dancing show of all, as he described it.

Speaking of Disney, maybe they could make a movie about all this?

Maggie, that's how I read it too. There's a certain sad irony about this statement from someone who was cheated on especially publically 'Needless to say, it’s Elena, who has the answer: ‘We have normal rules, like any other couples. He belongs to me and I belong to him.’

I think this was the article but re-reading it she doesn't sound as I thought. I see that any mention of his affair has been expunged. Gleb the good father and husband.

No I haven't. Are you able to post the url? I've looked up Gleb on YT (obvs ) and not seen him talking about salsa, AT, ballroom tango though I've seen him refer to other DWTS pros f***ing their celebs.

I recognise a lot of those moves in the dances he created for Anita.

I know! I think for a while during this series, Elena was not in London and I thought she might be with her daughter - but at the time, I figured that was Russia, with grandparents or other relatives or something. Maybe the little girl's in school now (she's either 4 or 5) or maybe Elena doesn't have permission to move to London with her and can only visit? (remembering Artem and his visa problems )

And I'm too nosey for my own good - but it adds a little spice to the show, as presented and controlled by producers, agents and press. Although that interview was pretty wild - throwing water bottles, towels, a shoe brush at each other?? It reminds me of when Kristina went back to the USA where her boyfriend Corky Ballas had moved a new girlfriend in and Kristina threw all the girl's belongings out a window. Passionate girls, those Russian spitfires!
