Was it presale today?

What were the ticket prices? Not a huge fan but she's playing not far from me so if prices are reasonable I may try in the general sale tomorrow.

Wow that's actually less than I expected.

Will have a look Friday morning and see if there are any good seats available.

Yeah I got for Manchester when my O2 Priority text came through. I'm so happy she's actually coming because I said in a thread here about tours I'd like to see about 2 weeks ago.

I got my ticket yesterday for her Cardiff gig. £78 for a centre block seat just 7 rows from the stage! So thrilled! Been a Mariah fan since Vision Of Love! I really wanted to see Madonna too but couldn't justify paying £195 for a decent seat, that price is just pure greed. At least Mariah's people have kept her tkt prices reasonable. So thrilled she's coming to Cardiff too. For once I don't have to worry about extra costs like hotel and travel.

I saw Madonna's RH Tour, it was more than worth it. I am a huge fan though!

I do wonder what has made her decide to do Europe for the first time in 13. She hasn't been over here since 2010 (to my recollection) when she was promoting Memoirs and I wish she had brought the Adventures Tour here. Her vocals on the All I Want For Christmas residency have been quite good from what I've heard.

I hope, but fully expect her to not, she sing some of the songs she rarely sings like Anytime You Need A Friend and I might wee myself if she does Through The Rain.

Last time she came here was around Christmas 2009 to promote I want to know what love is.

Well she did say she would be researching what was popular in each region to inform the set list. So it's possible. However she tends to ignore the charmbracelet and glitter eras these days. I think anytime you need a friend would be a bit ambitious, I don't expect her to sing that in 2016, however that's no disrespect to Mariah. Because only prime Mariah can sing anytime you need a friend.

She still sounds good. Not like in her prime but she still sounds good for 2015.

I used to be the biggest Mariah fan. I first saw her in Paris when I was 16 and she was amazing! Then a few times in London and the quality of the shows steadily dropped.

Last time I saw her the show was more about her costume changes and telling us how great and expensive her 'ensemble' was than it was about singing the songs people had paid to see her sing. I realise her voice is nowhere near its peak but she spent more time off stage changing clothes than she did on stage singing. We heard her backing singers fill in more than we heard her.

I hope for those who have tickets that that's changed.

A friend is going to one of the NYC gigs early next year. She was chatting to me slightly worried as reports said her voice was wrecked now. Told her you won't know until you go see her?

Not a fan.

Well she's been getting rave reviews for her beacon concerts and her Vegas residency so I'm not sure where all this negativity is coming from.

I think the decent ticket prices are reflecting the decline in quality of her voice.
I don't think anyone goes to a Mariah concert now expecting her to squeak out those whistle notes or belt out that massive key change in "Without You" that she was doing with ease in her prime.
Her voice has changed but she still has a lovely tone and of course is one of the biggest diva icons out there, so even that alone justifies seeing her

She can still hit her whistle notes and does this live in concert. The big belts are beyond her in a live setting now though.

It's a shame she's not doing Newcastle. I'd love to see her live, but she's not an artist i'm willing to fork out on travel and accommodation for

I agree with this. I might go see her as she is nearby but I wouldn't travel to see her.

The tickets dont seem to be selling too well judging by the free presales ,very few tickets shifted today .
Surely somebody of her stature will sell out all the venues easily enough though ?

Not all of the pre-sales were free. One of them had to be paid for. I paid £16 to join the pre-sale on Tuesday. I don't understand why you are saying that the tickets are not selling well when they haven't gone on sale to the general public yet?

Also only a certain amount of tickets are released in a pre-sale not the whole lot. A lot of the fans have been moaning as all of the good seats in the pre-sales have already sold.

How do you know how many tickets were sold in the pre-sale today?

Those ones only started today. The O2 priority started yesterday and the fan club one started on Tuesday and is now closed.
