Couple of reasonably competitive games tonight in my opinion, Lewis V Gurney and this next one.

Having looked at the odds I'd be all over Laursen in this!! He's been there and done it loads of times on this stage 13/8 looks a good bet.

There did; the prelim was always second on and played over the best of seven legs.

I presume they've cut out the fifth match because it would always be played close to midnight with only a handful of spectators left in the arena.

Another change this year was pointed out by Dave Clark earlier on; the stage and setting has been turned round 90 degrees to fit tiered seating round the whole of the hall and push the capacity up to 3000.
