I said a few pages ago about Wolfie and a few mocked but I do think he will get asked
Not sure about Thornton, he has played poor since that win. I fancy Chizzy to get a spot and a dark horse for me could be VVdV, especially with the event going to Holland for the first time. |

You say VDV every year, he's gotta weigh in some time 😛😛😛
I had Eric, John Lowe, Jocky, Cliff, Dave Whitcombe, Keith, Bobby George, Mike Gregory, Steve Brennan and VVdV

Not sure Wade has the level to win this tournament these days. He doesn't have that power scoring streak to his game cope with the likes of MVG or Anderson.
Today is a classic Wade just doing enough performance, he's played poor but Caven isn't a threat. |

Irrespective of recent form, Barney would be in my top three or four to go into bat against MVG, seems to have the presence to unsettle him sometimes. Let's see if he can make it one competitive game of the evening.

Barney feeding off the crowd at the moment.
This is much more like it compared to the previous two matches. |

Thing with Barney is, can he sustain this, because you know MVG will.
Best Barney has played in a long time that first 2 sets though. |

Barney had to play pretty much unplayable darts to win that set though, very hard to see him keeping up that level tbh. You never know i guess

Barney pretty much tanked that set after the first leg. Silly really he really had a chance to stick the knife in further and make mvg cack himself. I'd be surprised if we didn't see a mvg 4-2 tbh but who knows I guess

Next set is make or break for Barney, he's thrown the kitchen sink at him so far and it's still 2-2 if he goes 3-2 down I doubt there is anyway back.
