amazing match!

superb from both players. Barney rolled back the years!

that 10 dart leg from MVG was unbelievable to watch BTW.

Always fancy Barney to peg out on a combo where he ends on D18. What a performance by the old Grandad 😛

Top draw match, excellent stuff

almost a shame one of them has to go out the competition after that

Raymond van Barneveld should win this title now as the other players left are not playing their best

No idea where RVB pulled that out from but bloody hell that was immense.
Delighted that MVG is out.

As a matter of interest Ned, did anyone go for RVB in this match or to reach the semi ?

I just hope that Barney does that performance justice by following it up in the rest of the championship and doesn't just roll over meekly in the next match.

Raymond van Barneveld should win this title now as the other players left are not playing their best
I would suggest that only happens if Taylor goes out before they meet.

What a game. One of the best I've ever seen that's for sure.

Not sure on the match yet as haven't gone through them all (I'll say 99% certainly no though!) every single person went for MVG to make the semis.

That's a great win for Barney. He stuck in there and deserves a lot of credit for that. Will be interesting to see what Barney turns up v Smith.

For barney to get past Bunting, MvG, and then Smith would be one hell of an effort.

Barney seems to raise his game in the big matches against MVG for some reason, did him in the grand slam final a few years back the same. Wouldn't trust him to do it again against Michael Smith.

Yep and the PL final too. Hard to call Barney's match against Smith, Bully's beaten him the last three in floor events but Barney leads the head to head overall. Then again a lot of those wins were before Smith was much kop.
