Dont you think Dave Chisnell has been lucky to make the Premier League as he does not win many tournaments

I think it will take something dramatic for sky not to pick Barney. His such a big draw.
But based on all things darts he fully deserved the pick. Back in top 10 and thrilled the darting audience with his matches v Bunting, MVG and nearly Aidy Lewis in the end. |

You don't have favorites? Wade and SnakeBite I love to watch, you come across rude at times, and screw the smiley face.
So your comments about the BDO and us fans of it weren't rude then ? Ok. |

I do, I have said on here that I like Lewis a lot. Always generous in victory or defeat.

For those saying Sky don't respect the BDO, there's some BDO darts on Sky Sports 1 right now!

I dislike all the callers and the standard in general is just poor it all seems really dull whilst Wolfie and Ted Hankey are the only ones with any kind of personality on the board for me, it's a combination of everything really, the funny thing is I watched John Lowe win in 1993 I loved it back then, huge fan of him.
The standard is not poor, unless you are a very good player of course, it is a decent standard. It isn't the PDC but it doesn't profess to be. The BDO World Champion is a farmer first and a dart player second. He cannot practice like Anderson can. They are amateurs to all intense and purposes but if you like darts, which I do, then you will watch it and enjoy it. Darts isn't all about 100 averages and fans trying to out chant each other. I will watch it and not fall asleep |

RE : The World Cup of Darts we were chatting earlier. I can see that changing or going altogether to be honest.

I've said before that they should change the World Cup of Darts into a darts version of the Ryder Cup. Great Britain vs the Rest of the World. The top 12 ranked players from each in singles and doubles over the course of a weekend. Throw in a couple of legends of the past as non-playing captains even.
Although may have to be England V ROW |

Great idea
Although may have to be England V ROW It would make a better spectacle than the current World Cup. |

Looking forward to the Q-School, the number of cards available won't be finalised yet because people who have automatically qualified for tour cards might turn them down but this is the current position.
128 tour cards available. 64 to the top 64 in the Order of Merit (that includes 6 qualifiers from Q-School 2015 that are on the second year of their card) 28 to the qualifiers from Q-School 2015 that are on their second year now. 2 to the top two in the Challenge Tour 2015 (that includes Jan Dekker who also qualified via the Order of Merit, I think his place would go to 3rd place Shaun Griffiths but not sure) 2 to the top two in the Development Tour 2015. 32 available at Q-School 2016. That'll be the normal system of a knock-out tournament each day of four days, the semi-finalists each day get 2-year tour cards and at the end of the Q-School the best 16 players that didn't get a card automatically qualify for 2-year tour cards. |

BDO Worlds feel an anti climax after being spoilt by the high standards of the PDC Worlds, i do wonder if it'd be beneficial to move the BDO Worlds to just before the PDC Worlds?

But I do admit to being a general darts fan rather than PDC or BDO so the order doesn't bother me. Plus there is no way that Sky would move the PDC event to mid January, that will not happen. |

For some bizarre reason i thought the bloke presenting the trophy was Sid Waddell's son.
There seemed a resemblance to me. Probably wrong though. |
