Taylor just lost a last leg decider to Wade and then blamed the crowd

Nice to have some big darts on, I know theirs been those Mickey Mouse masters events but this one is a proper 'major'

Absolutely - kept up with the results of the World Series but couldn't be bothered to watch the highlights on ITV4 knowing who won. Be good to see some players we haven't seen our our screens since Christmas too.

Not the greatest opener to the tournament. Maybe they should have a big name to start off the night to get the crowd going a bit.

When you average 79 against MvG you get spanked a whitewash.

10-0 it is! To be honest MVG wasn't even in top form there but Jabba I'm sure even by his own admission was shocking!

This one's a banana skin tie for Chizzy, should win it but if he has one of those nights he tends to have now and again Benito could win this.

It's going to be unbelievably hot in there tonight. The evening sessions on a warm day get ridiculously warm. Could be a factor for some players

Not convinced by Gurney's new nickname 'Superchin' instead of 'The Dude'.

Bit of an anoraky question but are they using a new type of board for this tournament?
The numbering style looks a bit different. |

I think they used to use a Blade HD and this one is called the Eclipse HD 2
The numbers on the board are clip-on, so you could change the sequence around the board if you wanted

I think the Blade's a Winmau/BDO board, but the Eclipse HD2 is apparently the new board for PDC tournaments.

Just seen that it's called the Eclipse HD. Is that because you can see the numbers better?
![]() They've gone a bit OTT on the sell http://www.unicorn-darts.com/range/d...ristle-hd.aspx What a complete load of balls! ![]() ![]() |

If I didn't know better, I'd swear Mark Webster was suffering with dartitis.
The really unfortunate thing is that it didn't seem to affect him until he got into the business end of the match. |

All a bit of a cakewalk for Gando here, expected a much better showing from Chuck. Disappointing.
