To be fair I think he has a point. He has been to New Zealand, China, Dubai and Japan in the past few weeks and he is a bit older than the other 7 players. When I came back from Hong Kong I slept for nearly 24 hours solid. It hits you.
Fair enough, I didn't realise his itinerary was quite as substantial and compressed as that.

Lewis v Price is probably the match of the night solely because of the vitriol both have been pouring in each other's direction on social media in the last few days

It must be a hot one at the Winter Gardens tonight if they're letting the referees ditch the suits and ties.

Price v Lewis tonight will be so good I reckon it's gonna end in fisticuffs
Meh, why have they put the grudge match on last? If it ends in a punch up I'll be tucked up in me scratcher by then

Air con not allowed in the Winter Gardens so it will be unbearable.

One slightly disappointing thing I've just noticed is that the second round matches have gone down from first to 13 to first to 11 - purely so Sky can fit four of them in each night.

Sky always showed 4 a night when it was first to 13 in previous years

Ultimately not.

Looking a fairly uncompetitive night of arras tonight now, straightforward wins for Chizzy and Snakebite. MVG will cruise the next one and you'd expect Lewis to win the finale.

Incidentally how has Lewis managed to find yet another person to have beef with?! For someone who doesn't seem to do much to offend on the oche he's fallen out with half the tour at one time or another!

The Sky hype machine is well oiled tonight, I see.

I can't believe Lewis's blind 180 against Peter Manley at the Circus Tavern happened a decade ago.

Ha, Price didn't even look at Lewis when he shook his hand

The Sky Hypeometer is as high as the thermometer tonight.

"Has there ever been a more eagerly awaited second round match ?" In a word Rod. YES

Price hasn't turned up yet.

Awful match so far - perhaps inevitably so.

I can see Price doing what Nicholson did. Couple of years playing the bad guy then sinking without trace

Who'd have thought Lewis would be portrayed as the good guy!

I actually think Bingo is a nice guy. He always gives an interview whether he wins or loses and answers lots of his fans on Twitter etc. I just don't think he is the brightest in the nicest possible way

So poor from Price.
