Is it just me, or is it still really strange to see the PDC on the BBC??
I can't quite get my head around it. Nice to see some proper darts on the Beeb

I cannot remember her name but she is very good isn't she ? Really knows her stuff and asks good questions rather than inane statements.

I did pose that question earlier in the year when the tournament announcement was made. Probably a bit distasteful for the Beeb.

My only pet peeve was the players break music what do you think, it just reminded me of the BDO a little, maybe sky own the rights to play them or something?

If you mean Chase The Sun then Sky don't own the rights. It'll have been the BBC probably wanting to look different to Sky in that regard. ITV use Chelsea Dagger. I'm sure they could have done better than Hey bloody Baby. I hate that song

Nicho I always thought was a bit of an unfulfilled talent really, it all seemed to go wrong when it seemed to become more about creating this 'heel' character than about the darts.
Be the pantomime villain by all means Bluto made a career out of it but I never got the impression he spent more time coming up with gimmicks to rile the crowd up than actually playing darts! |

Don't want to be unkind to Michael Smith but I've had the impression watching him this weekend that he's only there to pick up his pay cheque.

MvG and Taylor seem to stand apart by the sheer consistency. |

Tricky little banana skin tie that for MVG against the Adonis, especially on a double in best of 3 setter.
Look a lot of decent games in that first round actually. |
