Superb opening game tonight.
Whitlock dredging something up from the old memory bank when it looked like he had thrown it away. Norris is becoming one of my favourite players though- never gives up. |

What has happened to Steve West
He beats Phil Taylor and then loses to Daryl Gurney |

I wonder now many more 9 darters we'd get if players didn't move away on the 6th dart, just hit the treble 20 again ffs.
You're not making it easier really, give yourself a chance and stay at 20s I say

As I said at the time, though, we don't know whether the BBC were just screening the event as a one-off experiment or as part of a greater commitment with the PDC. |

This is great stuff from Simon Whitlock against MvG
Crowd don't seem to like MvG for some reason. MvG gets it done 3-1 - but nice to see Whitlock getting back towards the level he used to play at. |

MvG is virtually unplayable when he's in this form.
114 average on double start, for goodness sake

Looks like Anderson has made the decisive blow to see off Barney.

Chizzy is a much better player than his record and ranking suggest. I would love to see him win a tournament or two

I really don't understand why the Dublin crowd don't seem to like MvG judging by the boos.

What a sensational performance from MvG.
It's not often you can say that Gary Anderson is outclassed but he was tonight. |

Michael Van Gerwen seems to win these big events so easily, But when it comes to the World Championship he finds it lot tougher to win even though he was won a World title
