Is it safe to use a Nokia mains charger with a detachable usb lead as an e cigarette usb charger ?

Unless the e-cig is a ten year old design then perfectly safe.

I'd probably actually say it's safer than the normal cheap Chinese one. Someone at my workplace was charging one at their desk and it happened to catch fire. Bloody waste of an afternoon sorting that out...
