I bet The Sun journalists place bets on the highest odds celebrities, then print negative articles about everyone else on Saturday to swing the vote there way for a nice Christmas bonus.

I like to think I have a good gut instinct when it comes to picking the winners, predicting for example that Abby would beat the supposed favourite Susannah, and up until last week I would have happily placed a hefty sum on Jay to win, but with what I've seen with dance and song chances this week I'm really beginning to doubt... I really think this might be swayed on the night like Darren v Colin all those years ago! Alionas trip down memory lane show dance ..... Where's the wow factor in that???

Where's the wow factor in wafting about to 'Fix You'? or jumping about like toddlers on tartrazine? Wait and see re: Jay's showdance. We can see from training that there are some new and different moves in there. We can also see that others are repeating choreo too (not Kellie but the other two.)

I'm thinking of betting on the final this year for the first time since Chris and Ola won. That year I picked Chris to win before the start of the series. It's so close this year, it could be worth a punt on any of them except Jay.

Its really hard to say how the showdances are going to go - I can't see myself being bowled over by Katie and Antons to be honest, but I'll wait and see what they come out with. I think any of the rest could be a hit or a miss - I do see potential in all three of them.

Its too early to dismiss Jays, it could be good and we've not seen nearly enough to judge.

I saw a bit more than 'wafting about' from Georgia even in that small clip, and given their great synchronicity and her grasp of ballroom and latin, I can imagine a lot of good dance, performance and storytelling in there too.

And I think its a bit unfair (and premature) to dismiss Kevin and Kellie as toddlers on tartazine. Shes always delivered a solid performance up until now, they have the potential to produce a great showdance. Lets wait and see.
