I think Kellie is going to win.

A late surge maybe but not enough, not even with Jay's weird choices for the final. He's built up too much of a fan base and momentum over the course of the series to lose this.

I think Kellie & Kevin are peaking just at the right time and could definitely lift the glitterball. After Saturday night, I thought they could steal the show in the final.

This has got to be the closest final in years. The main advantage for Jay & Aliona is their fans are the most likely to have multiple accounts for online voting or be willing to use up their mobile allowances. I'm not sure as many fans of the other couples will go to the same lengths. Just my opinion.

The momentum does seem to be with them at the perfect time. Personally after them annoying me greatly for most of the series, I've really liked them the last two weeks.

I didn't realise Jay was doing the Paso? I liked that but perhaps not the one I would have chosen, I hope they do some adjustments to the outfits.

I also agree with another poster that Georgia's moment may have passed, she's brilliant though and a great showdance could bring her right back in it. It feels closer than it did even a couple of weeks ago.

These forums will go nuts if a CLIFTON wins it. Would be worth voting for them just to see the over-reactions.

I couldn't call it. Jay, Georgia and Kellie are all very strong. Unless one of them drops an absolute clanger on the night (and I don't expect that), it could be any one of them. I wouldn't be inclined to read too much into what we have seen of the show dances so far. We have had the merest of glimpses, and that is all we will get before tomorrow night. You can be certain that we have not seen their best elements at all. It will be interesting to see how Katie performs, considering that her Ballroom is so much stronger than her Latin or Charleston. If Anton plays it to her strengths (which is the logical thing to do) it may well work against her because she will not be able to demonstrate the range of the others. That is why I expect her to finish fourth. As for the winner: my heart says Georgia, my head says Jay, but my gut reaction suspects Kellie.

I didn't find Kellie's training footage very good! This is probably the first day. I don't know why she dances it in heels. Surely the lindy hop is usually done in flat shoes.

It'll be a grimace and gurning saga come saturday
Yes, I'm afraid Bruno probably will be there... (desperately trying to steal the limelight, as always, no doubt. Still, I suppose if your script says "FALL OFF CHAIR" - what else can you do? The poor little plastic jet-lagged man)

I must admit that's a very big part of the reason I want to see them win

But nowhere near as nuts when Jay DOES win, and I just can't wait for that!

Yesterday I clicked on a link that took me to an article about Strictly (may have been the Mirror website) and at the bottom was a poll on who do you think will win. I clicked Jay and the running total at the time was Jay high 40 something percent, Kellie & Georgia in the 20's percent (Georgia only 1 or 2 percent ahead) and Katie about 10%.

Don't know how representative that is or even how many votes had been cast.

Just looked it up. Currently

Jay 45%
Georgia 25%
Kellie 20%
Katie 10%

Mind you do the people who click on an online poll actually vote on the night?
How many people can be bothered with online polls though? It's way much effort to find them, there are too many, and clicking is a dull activity. Those things are probably skewed by a few fanatics who don't mind it

I think KK would have been better doing a slow dance, it sounds as if it's all going to be really fast kicking, flicking and gurning, too over the top.
Agreed, and I have always found Kevin's fast dances to be much too frenetic, and at times almost out of control to a point where it begins to look very messy (especially for the celeb partner).

I'm not looking forward to their showdance at all. The music is awful and I hoped never to have to watch anyone dance Lindyhop ever again (Charlestons are bad enough).

I haven't decided who I will vote for yet as I have no favourite but I am 99% certain their showdance plus a Charleston will be enough to put me off them completely.

Nope - Jay has this signed, sealed, and on a plate.

He shouldn't have been in the competition in the first place as he's got too much dance training. Anyone who tries to pretend that he's not going to walk it is (a) working for the show and trying to manufacture the pretence that 'anyone could win' for the sake of drama, (b) a Jay fan trying to boost his votes by making other Jay supporters and floating voters fear that someone else might win, especially someone who has been less popular with the public vote, or (c) in serious denial.

I'd like to see Katie and Anton win it, but don't think they're up to it. Jay could go out there, forget all his steps, and still win.

Be embassies if she wins. She's been over marked for week and is given the best music and positions. If she is last on then the police will, need To investigate corruption.

So ridiculous and over the top that I can't even be bothered to list all the reasons why you are SO wrong.

I don't think that there has been a single year when the same pathetic excuse hasn't been made.

Depends on how "authentic" it is. The Lindy Hop Upstairs Downstairs thing the pros did at Blackpool had the lady pros in heels (and not great IMO). Kelly's Charlestony bit was done in high heels, but the Lindy Hoppers brought in were in flats.

She's female, though.

Darcy said she wants a male winner with about 0.2 seconds of the very first show because - shock, gasp, horror - we've had two female winners back to back. How dare we? We all know only the pretty faced males can win multiple times back to back.

As soon as Darcy said that, the females were doomed, and it quickly became obvious that Jay would be winning this year.

Where are all those "it's so unfair, friggin' ringer!!" threads this year? Oh, that's right, everyone's keeping quiet because it isn't a female ringer, but a fresh faced pretty boy who's made a lot of knickers wet.

It's absolutely pathetic, cannot stand the double standard on this forum. The amount of abuse Denise, Natalie and Pixie got was unbelievable but the male version is perfectly acceptable.

Especially when Peter turned out to be a bit of a one note stomper.

Why, he's a shoe in for it. Won't be any surprise.

I know that, but it won't stop the Jay knockers ranting and raving, which will make his victory even sweeter.

I can't see anyone being surprised or outraged when Jay wins. It's the only outcome. Does anyone really think it won't happen?

It's almost the same as the year Chris Hollins won. Only that year I didn't watch the final as I couldn't face seeing 'that' dance again. At least we know Jay will win but he's a great dancer so it will be good to watch. No real excitement or suspense though.

No way - she is the teacher's pet and her screeching gets on my nerves - I think Kellie winning would be very boring for me - sorry
I have to agree with you about the screeching. If Kellie did win her screeching would shatter the glitter ball

It seems most likely to me that Kevin will end up in the 2nd/3rd place black hole for the third year running. Katie seems to have got copped most of the backlash from Anita going out and the current round of FIX rumours and her performance in the semis was pretty shoddy, so I'm not sure even the power of the Year Of The Anton will get her into the second half. As for Kellie winning... someone who's been in the Bottom 2 twice winning would be a first.
