I liked her a lot. She asked tough questions but without being antagonistic or making it feel like she was grandstanding for the cameras. Ricky wasn't really enough of a character as an interviewer and Margaret had become almost a caricature of herself.

His questions about Lord Sugar were a masterstroke. ![]() |

Slouchingthatch was referring to two past interviewers though, one of whom was former winner Ricky Martin. Ricky wasn't an interviewer this year. The guy who did the questions on Lord Sugar was someone else, can't remember his name, and yes that was a masterstroke, whicn Joseph handled well!

She was very harsh but it suits the format of the apprentice as the interviews are meant to make them squirm; I don't think Claudine really adds a lot to interviews whereas the others really cut through the false claims and challenge them on their ideas. I think Linda would be a good side kick for Lord Sugar as she and Claude have very similar style of tough but fair

It was Mike Soutar, who always pulls some kind of stunt in interviews. Remember him asking Jordan to prove his claim that he could solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute?
![]() Something like... "You think this is a unique product- it isn't, in fact I have a similar offering right here" *takes out product* "well, it's unique in terms of ready meals" "wrong again" takes out a ready meals offering!! ![]() she pretty much went from being series favourite to no-hoper in that one fantastic minute! |

She liked to say the word 'bullshit' a lot. Only once would have sufficed.

I didn't like her, but then I find the interviews so fake. No matter how good the business plan they'll rip it apart or make silly comments. Linda was trying too hard to be a Anne Robinson type character. I suppose she felt she had something to prove, given that it was her first appearance.
Sugar already knows who's going without the interviews round. It's just an excuse to get his mates on the show and for them to have a smugfest in the boardroom after. I think the candidates seemed less bothered this year, though. I suppose they've watched the show themselves so many times over the years and realise the interviews are basically a bit of entertainment and took it in that spirit. |

What she looked like is completely irrelevant. She asked incisive and pertinent questions and was the best of the four interviewers in my opinion. The way she demolished Richard was very impressive. I hope she stays on the team.

One thing she definitely seems to have done is divide opinion. Add one to the fan column here ...

I liked the guy a few years back who was on one of the tasks and came bck for the interviews. I think it was the first year of investments rather than the "job"
One of the candidates had a cold calling business and had devised website names related to that. It turned out she had not actually bought these domain names yet - so he bought them instead. |
