Mobile Phone - Sky Go compatible question please

I am due for an upgrade on my mobile phone shortly and was hoping for a bit of advice.

My current phone (ZTE Blade S6) is not compatible with Sky Go, although it is a great phone otherwise. I have Sky Go Extra across all my other devices so its an inconvenience but not the be all and end all. However as I am due for an upgrade shortly I thought now would be an opportunity to get a phone that supports Sky Go.

I would love to hear from anybody with recommendations (particularly those that have Sky Go already installed on their phones).

I’m not keen on an iPhone so wouldn’t upgrade to one but have previously had LG & Samsung mobiles and was very happy with those.

Thanks for any advice/recommendations.

Stick to a "mainstream" UK supplier phone and it'll work.

This is what Sky says with regard to Android:

Quote:
“Each release of Sky Go is tested on a range of flagship devices from our partner manufacturers;
Samsung, Sony, Google, HTC, LG and Motorola.”

Avoid the lesser Chinese makers as that's where the compatibility problems normally are found.

Thanks - wish I'd known that previously

The Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, which is made by ZTE and is based on the Blade S6 Lux, now works with Sky Go since the 5.1 update. Just thought this may help.
